A beautiful luxury villa, the perfect 'Home from Home in the Sun!'. Designed with space in mind, 3 large bedrooms can be configured as SuperKing, Twin or Family bedrooms each having either en-suite bath or shower rooms, a large lounge with panoramic views and SKY TV and a well appointed large kitchen with views overlooking the valley and private swimming pool.
The dining area provides a comfortable dining environment for up to 10 people with direct access to the main veranda and private 8 x 4m. heated swimming pool. With sun and fun in mind, the villa roof overhangs the veranda to provide over 40 sq. metres of shade from the midday sun. From the veranda you have full views of the valley whilst still being close enough to the pool terrace that wherever you are, you're together. The gas BBQ is located on the pool terrace next to the veranda making it the centre of attention for those lunch or evening meal times. All this set within over 7,500 M2 of it's own private olive grove. A beautiful peaceful tranquil setting.

The swimming pool is the centre point of life in the sun. Whatever you are doing, or where ever you are at La Roca, you're never far from the swimming pool. Not everyone wants to be in the pool, or lazing in the sun on the pool terrace. Some want to be in the shade, reading a book or just relaxing. So we built a large overhanging roof on La Roca which provides over 40 sq. metres of shade on the verada, which is next to the pool and terrace to ensure that where ever you want to be, you can still be together.
However, if you want to take time out from everyone else, why not take a seat at the other end of the villa, looking over the valley and up to the mountains. Then, when the mood takes, simply relax together for breakfast, lunch or dinner on the veranda beside the pool terrace gas BBQ.

- Smoking Policy: Whilst we welcome Smokers at La Roca, we do ask that you refrain from Smoking Inside La Roca, with over 7,500sq metres, and a covered veranda of over 40sq. metres, we feel it only fair on other guests that those wishing to smoke do so outside.
- KeyLoss/Damage/Excessive Energy Consumption: We will require a £200 Returnable Deposit to cover these costs. We will return this deposit three weeks after departure.
- Deposit Payment: We require 25% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival

Every facility you can imagine, Sun, Sea, Sand and Surf in the morning, Ski in the afternoon. Where else on earth can you do that!. With leisure facilities all the way up and down the coast and stunning beauty and history a little inland, it truly is something for everyone.
The Lake Vinuela / Alcaucin area
Alcaucin is a chocolate-box pretty village, located 54 kilometres from Malaga and 25 kilometres from the coast at Torre del Mar. At an altitude of 508 metres, Alcaucin is situated on the lower western slope of La Maroma in the Sierra Tejeda mountain range.
An interesting feature of the nearby countryside is an enourmous U-shaped gap in the mountains, known as El Boquete de Zafarraya which can be clearly seen from anywhere at La Roca. A road runs through the gap linking the Provinces of Malaga and Granada.
Also near to the village is the Castle Zalía of Phoenician origin, later used as a fortress by the Moors. The village layout is typically Moorish; the name Alcaucin is derived from the Arabic Al-Cautin (arches). An 18th century parish church, Nuestra Señora del Rosario, stands in the village square.
The Alcázar Nature Reserve and the sulpherous springs of Las Majadas are both found within the municipal area.

James was so helpful and honest about everything, from what to expect with the weather to what the villa offered.
The welcome pack is the best we have ever received packed with everything we would ever need to know and more with such clear directions on how to get from the airport to the villa.
It was great being able to go straight to the villa and not stop off somewhere to get keys. The welcome pack of food and drink was ideal and meant we could relax straight away. The pool was welcoming and surprisingly warm for the time of year. We hadn't been expecting the weather we ended up getting so were pleasantly surprised we could swim in the pool (though it was a little chilly when getting out!)
The kitchen had more than we could possibly need, the BBQ was fantastic and the lounge was comfortable for us to relax in once the sun went down. The beds were great (medium in the main room and more firm in the other rooms). The bedrooms are all large (the main bedroom is huge) and with each bedroom having an en-suite it was ideal.
There really wasn't anything I or my friends could say negative about La Roca. We will be going back.

Came here for a week for my girlfriends 18th birthday, and obviously our choices were quite limited as you need to be 21 to hire a car in Europe. The owners have an airport pickup and drop off service which was cheaper than a taxi, and that made it so easy for us to get to La Roca. The Villa is beautiful with amazing views and a large pool, as well as English TV for rainy days (even though the weather was great for our stay). If you aren't very active the walk to the shops is a bit of a problem, but overall a great holiday. Equipped with everything you need, we've already recommended to several friends and hope to return soon. Also, the steak at Venta la Parra is amazing!
We are always grateful for feedback from our guests and, whilst we take every necessary step to ensure LA ROCA is at a high standard, when we fall short we take any action necessary to rectify any issues found. We have replaced all towels and bed linen!
