Casa Perla, is a beautiful old Lime washed cottage with 65cm [2ft] thick stone walls and terracotta tiled floors, so staying cool in the summer heat and warm in the winter months. It has been tastefully restored keeping many of it's original features and with the addition of a covered dining terrace, sunken garden and large roof terrace it is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peace and spectacular views.
Situated in the centre of the privately owned, authentic Moorish hamlet [Aldea de Los Castillejos], there are 11 cottages, 6 of which are let for rural tourism and courses, So you have the best of both worlds, privacy of your own house, plus, should you wish, the ability to socialise with the other guests around the large communal swimming pool [12m X 5m], terraces, gardens and BBQ.
The street is safe for children as only for use by foot or hoof, cars being parked on the threshing circle at the top of the hamlet [25m walk down to the house]
We also offer Arabic/Andaluz food served in the eating room [or your house], and for groups we can fire up the village Arabic wood oven to prepare special hearth breads & pizzas. We can provide for individuals and groups; massage [western/eastern], meditation, yoga, reiki treatments, guided mountain walks. And there is always someone on hand to help with any of your needs.
Although secluded, the cottage is just five minutes walk to the lake, restaurants and village of Los Romanes and 20 minutes drive to Costa del Sol with all the beaches and holiday amenities.

This beautiful house set out on 5 levels; Entrance from the street into Kitchen/Breakfast Room, up to Living Area, down into Dining/Living room with cast iron wood fire. French door to Covered Terrace and Walled Sunken Garden, with lake and mountain views. From living area up to Twin Bedroom with Onsuite Bathroom. Stairs up to Double Bedroom, another Twin [Triple-7th person] Bedroom, Bathroom. Stairs up up Large Roof Terrace with spectacular panoramic views of the whole area.

The cottage is self contained with private terraces and garden and BBQ.
There are communial: Swimming pool [12m x 5m], terraces gardens and BBQ .
There is a small street running through the hamlet for foot and hoof, so great for children.
All cars can be parked in and around the theshing circle at the top of the hamlet.
There are many pathways [caminos] winding their way though the olive & almond gloves up into the surrounding hills and down to the lake.
For large families and groups there is Meeting/eating room with terraces and industrial kitchen available to hire daily or weekly.
As the owners live in in the hamlet there will always be an English speaking person on hand to help should you need any advice on what to do, where to go, or if you have any problems.
Welcome packs can be provided on your arrival.

Málaga, which was a millenarian and cosmopolitan city in the past, preserves all its historical roots. Far-off times it witnessed the Mediterranean culture's and man's origins. Although it is the modern capital of the most outstanding Andalusian tourism industry, it has friendly traditional manners.
The picturesque and gorgeous lake at Vinuela offers fishing, swimming, watersports and there are several golf courses along the coast.
The surrounding villages provide a tranquil retreat to enjoy the mountain views, enjoy the local Fiestas and explore the traditional restaurants.
