The accommodation is centred around the circular sitting room ,with leather sofas,which opens on to the covered terrace as do two of the bedrooms. All the rooms have central ceiling fans. The kitchen/diner is exceptionally large and very well equipped. All the rooms are beautifully furnished and it is more like a "home away from home" than holiday accommodation. There is a good supply of videos and dvds together with books and literature on the local area together with walking routes for the more energetic.

The English speaking owners are available on site should you need any assistance during your stay.

There is a large mature garden with open and covered terrace. There is ample garden furniture for the outside terrace and covered terrace. A large sandpit together with spades and buckets etc. is a good facility for the children. Whilst relaxing by the pool one can appreciate the breathtaking lake and mountain views.

The Andalucia region

The Costa del Sol has a reputation for its wonderful year round warm climate and therefore the ideal location to visit at any time of year. Wonderful for summer holidays but also off season if you enjoy walking or bird watching. The popular bustling seaside resort of Nerja, famous for its caves, is 40 mins drive away and has many good reastaurants and bars. The famous Alhambra Palace at Granada is just over an hours drive.

Malaga city has a charming old historic town and Seville, Cordoba and Rhonda are all accessible for a day's visit.

Lake Vinuela

La Vinuela is the nearest village and is typical of the unspoilt white Andaluthian villages there are to visit in the area, all offering their own charm. Throughout the summer time there are many festivals throughout the area which are wonderful to attend an view the real spanish way of life.

Velez Malaga is an old Spanish town with the Moorish quarter dating back many years. It has an old castle and pretty gardens and interesting churches to visit. The town has an excellent municipal market, open six days a week, selling all local produce. There is also a wide range of modern shops.
