Bodrum Turquoise Homes is just 20 minutes drive from Bodrum International Airport, 10 minutes drive to the new Vita Park Golf Resort and 20 minutes from Bodrum Town Centre. You can be in the apartment within an hour of landing!
On-site facilities include: 24 hr security, 7 communal swimming pools including toddler pools, indoor heated swimming pool, mini-golf, pool slides, tennis, fitness centre, outdoor cinema (all free of charge), market, restaurant and bar and medical centre. Whether it's Golf, water sports, ancient history, beach life or the natural world you are after, this luxurious residential resort is the gateway to a lifestyle you've always dreamed of. Tuzla Lake is formed by the deep inlet from the Gulf of Güllük and Mandalya Bay. Home to a host of ancient ruins the lake is surrounded by mountains covered with Olive groves, Pine and Tamarisk trees. The area is particularly special as a natural bird sanctuary; throughout the year a large variety of rare birds including Pelicans, Flamingos and White Storks can be seen flocking to the wetlands. The Turquoise site itself covers two valleys and hillsides, the contours of the land allowing for spectacular views of Tuzla Lake, the sea and mountains.
Golf at Turquoise and Vita Park: One of Turquoise's most attractive features is the on-site 6 hole golf course. Golf is making its premiere in the Bodrum region in 2007. The Vita Park Golf Project is less than 2 km from Turquoise and will feature two 18 hole golf courses – one of which is now open.

The Turkish Aegean Coast region
Should you wish to explore the local area, the cheapest means of transport is by the local minibus known as Dolmus.
The Dolmus runs every hour to Bodrum in peak summer months. The timetable can be found at the bus stop. The bus returns from Bodrum Bus Station (Otogar) in exactly the same spot as you were dropped off. The cost each way is approximately 6 TL (about £2.50). The bus stop can be found by leaving the complex and turning left at the top of the hill – around 5 minutes walk.
You can also reach many other places by changing Dolmus at the main bus station in Bodrum, for example the beaches in Bitez, Gumbet and Camel Beach which offer a selection of water sports.
Approximately 30 minutes drive or Dolmus ride will see you arrive in the bustling town of Bodrum which despite its rapid growth still retains the charm, which has drawn people to her for over 2 millennia. Built upon the ruins of the ancient town of Halicarnassus, Bodrum is a bustling town of contrasts. A popular embarkation point for gullet charters setting out on their blue Cruise, Bodrum also bustles with the local Turkish Jet set, who love to flock down and stroll around the marina by summer. Wintertime brings a serene peace and quiet as local inhabitants reclaim the town for themselves again.
Bodrum is one of the few places in the world to have an underwater archaeology museum and this is certainly worth a visit for those interested in ancient history. Other places of historical interest in Bodrum include the castle, mausoleum and amphitheatre. The castle charges 10TL entrance for adults – children are free.
There are now two marinas for yachts and boats and a third marina is still under construction. You can catch a ferry boat direct to Kos from Bodrum's marina.
Bodrum is also home to an extensive shopping area where you can barter for your choice of souvenirs – you can choose from watches, clothes and local craft. The clothing and fabrics market is held on Tuesdays!
There are also many restaurants, bars and the local night club to help you enjoy the Bodrum nightlife.
Camel Beach is around 35 minutes drive, approximately 5km through Bodrum. This large sandy beach has access to warm, clear, shallow waters and also a variety of water sports for the more adventurous.
You could reach Gumbet by changing Dolmus in Bodrum. Here you will find a variety of bars, restaurants and clear shallow waters and a variety of water sports too.
From the stop outside the complex you can also reach the local villages of Guverncinlik and Bogazici these offer the chance to see a more traditional village. You can also book a boat trip or have a relaxing evening meal on the lakeside. It is approximately 3TL on the Dolmus each way.
Milas is the main province town of the local area and there is a weekly market held on Tuesdays and can be reached by Dolmus, although this service is less frequent = please check return times.
Taxis are available 24 hours from the taxi rank opposite the main entrance of Turquoise. The cost to Bodrum is about 40 lira (about £17). If returning after midnight the price doubles, but be warned the taxi drivers will try to quote you more. 80 lira for the return is a good price, don't pay more than 100 lira. The taxi rank is next to the bus stop. If you wish to hire a car, this can be arranged through the travel agency which is found at the top of the road to the right.
GOLF AT TURQUOISE AND VITA PARK
Turquoise has an on site 6-hole pitch and putt golf course and less than 6km from the complex is the new Vita Park Complex which will feature 2 18-hole courses – one is already in use and a second still being constructed.
OUT AND ABOUT AROUND TURQUOISE
Around the area of the Turquoise complex there are other complexes that offer a variety of facilities – Royal Heights, Flamingo Countryside and Lakeside Gardens. These can be accessed using the free shuttle bus that serves each of these complexes from around 10am to 7pm. The timetable can be found at the rear of the Turquoise Bar. The nearest shuttle bus stop can be found in front of Pearl 39. There are also 3 beaches within easy reach of the apartment and Turquoise Complex.
Paradiso Health Spa and Restaurant.
Situated half way down the Royal Heights complex the facilities on offer include – Turkish bath, gym, massage rooms, indoor pool and outdoor infinity pool.
Royal Heights Beach Club
At the nearby Royal Heights Complex you can access the beach club – here there are plenty of sun loungers, bar and platform access to the sea.
My Beach Club
My Beach Club is about 5 minutes drive or 15 minute walk from Turquoise and is recommended as a quiet and secluded beach with private wooden gazebos and free wi-fi. There is also a bar / restaurant with a good menu. If you require a taxi it will cost around 10 lira each way. My Beach is in a beautiful setting but is slightly more expensive. You can reserve a VIP lodge or make a table reservation by phoning Yusuf on: 0252 525 2270.
Again a secluded beach with access to clear shallow, warm waters with plenty of loungers and some private gazebos. There is a beach bar and cafe which offers the same menu as the Sunset Restaurant. A free shuttle bus is available from the Sunset Restaurant. The timetable can found by the restaurant.

"Great place to stay"
If you want to be away from the bustle of Bodrum itself then this is the place to stay. Close enough to Bodrum and easy access by the local buses that run regularly and inexpensive. Pearl 39 has all the facilities that you would expect with a garden area and a barbecue outside if you fancy cooking. There is a shared pool but we we lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves when we went in September.Weather was good the whole week and resort not too bust. There are supermarkets close by and a restaurant that does snacks and evening meals at a reasonable price. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay !!!

"Relaxed and chilled"
The apartment was modern clean and spacious and had everything that you would need. The complex was of an excellent standard and had lots of pools to choose from, some quieter ones or the main pool complex which had water slides and pool tables etc to keep the kids entertained. The pool bar and restaurant has an extensive menu at reasonable prices, the food was lovely and the staff very friendly. I would recommend a boat trip which the owner kindly organised for us, it stops at a couple of local bays and you get a meal of chicken or fish which was cooked on the BBQ on the boat. Overall an excellent complex and will definitely go again. A fab holiday with family and friends :)

"Wonderful Resort & Apartment"
We had a wonderful 2 week stay at this apartment last year, and it was lovely! Very spacious and clean, with everything there needed for a home from home trip. We couldn't fault it! The apartment is right by one of the pools which was great. The resort itself is lovely, and the main pool and restaurant were great. Food was fab! We've tried to book same apartment for this year but it's booked for when we want to go, and we're not surprised given how nice it is.
We would welcome you back anytime!
