Weekly pass to the residents only beach included in all rentals - sandy beach with Lifeguards ideal for kids complete with beach store for refreshments etc.

The New England / New Hampshire region
Long hot summers through to early October, followed by the world famous New England fall colours in 'Leaf-peeping' season (early October onward) Sunapee is the largest Lake at or above this altitude in North America. Its pristine waters have been home to city vacationers from New York and Boston since Victorian times. Take a dinner cruise from the Harbor, visit the Shaker Village and museum, spend some time aorund the quaint villages of Hanover (home to Dartmouth Ivy League University) or Quechee Gorge and its fabulous Simon Pearce Glass Factory & waterfall restaurant. Ski Season begins in late November/December and carries on to early April. Sunapee Harbor is the closest village to Mount Sunapee skiing with excellent facilities and 100% snow-making coverage when required. fed up with unreliable snow in Europe in early or late season? Never a problem here - great conditions right from opening day to early April.

Check out the town website of www.SunapeeHarbor.com for a list of activities. There are twice weekly free outdoor concerts in the summer, Fireworks on the Lake for July4th and a huge number of other activities. Biking , fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking are all right on your doorstep.
How to get there
- Direct flights to Boston which is 90 mins to the south. Airport is right off Interstate 93 North (highway) which takes you most of the way to the Lake. - Lots of car hire options in Boston right from the airport - Flights from London get in as early as 1pm so plenty of time to come up that day - Or, check out www.Dartmouthcoach.com who transfer by luxury coach directly from Boston's Logan airport to nearby Hanover NH - Or, we can recommend great places to stay in Boston at either end if you wish to extend your stay and see that great city

Further details indoors: Open plan 1200sq feet on one floor with high ceilings in this newly converted New England barn. 2 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. Note we have 2 similar units in the same location this being the slightly smaller one. The two main bedrooms are good-sized queen rooms all on one level, with the 3rd bedroom being a smaller room with bunk beds. We can provide an extra Aerobed if required and accessories for kids (high chairs, baby jogger if needed to save packing bulky items). From the linens, towels and mattresses, everything is new and comfortable. Cable TV throughout and high speed internet is available by arrangement for a small weekly charge.
Further details outdoors: The covered deck outside is relatively private yet allows you to see the world go by in an idyllic harbor setting - complete with gas BBQ and large dining table. The large private dock (48ft long) on the waterfront across the street shared by our 3 properties and is suitable for swimming. The water is so clean that it provides the source of the town drinking water.

Use of the dock is included for swimming etc. If you do rent a boat for the week (we can help with this) a mooring charge of $200 for the week is applied.
Conditions
A cleaning fee or $100 is automatically charged with the security deposit. This includes 2.5 hours of cleaning. An 8% New Hampshire State tax must also applied to the rental.

Rates are set in US dollars. When you book the rental rate can also be quoted and accepted by cheque in Pounds Sterling.
$500 security deposit which will be refunded following check our inspection. Cleaning fee of $100 automatically deducted from security deposit.
