The Tuscany / Pisa Province region

Art, history and natural beauty blend harmoniously in magical landscapes and by-gone day atmospheres. From tiny hamlets to rural areas, from heritage to fine food and wine, everything conjures up to make Tuscany a truly unique land. Windy roads lead to remote terracotta farmhouses, wheat fields and single files of dark green cypress trees provide stunning natural beauty, Tuscany provides a spectacular setting for your Italian holiday. Offering a warm climate, idyllic landscapes, superb cuisine, friendly people and a relaxed way of life, Tuscany has it all.
Explore picturesque hilltop towns, magnificent medieval cities and beautiful verdant countryside. From the magnificent cities of Florence and Sienna to the picturesque hilltop town of Montepulciano and the medieval skyscapers of San Gimignano. Tuscany is famed not just for its sensational landscape and wonderful cuisine, but also for its artistic and cultural legacy. Its rich historical landscape has shaped the region as it is today.
The Lajatico / Orciatico area
Nestled in stunning countryside, set on a hilltop 300m above sea level, is the tiny, medieval village of Orciatico. It is reached via a windy road stretching through vineyards and panoramic views of the beautiful rolling hills around Volterra. An ideal base for exploring the famous cities of Florence, Sienna and Lucca, all of which can be reached within approximately 1 hours drive.
The coast is also only a short drive away. Once a year, usually in July, the Teatro del Silenzio (Theatre of Silence) in the nearby village of Lajitico becomes the venue for the fabulous Andrea Bocelli concert. The world famous tenor returns to his home town of Lajitico with international guests to present this unforgettable event.
We can also arrange a cookery lesson in local Tuscan cuisine for small groups in a farmhouse surrounded by olive groves and vineyards in Orciatico village. If you prefer dinner can be freshly prepared for you and delivered to your apartment or you can eat in our local agent's farmhouse.
