The Vendee is famous for its long sandy beaches and flat landscape - ideal for cycling along the miles of guided pathways.

There are many tourist attractions nearby - including the Puy du Fou Theme Park, The O'Gliss Water Park, Atlantic Wake Park, the Indian Forest (for zip wires, karting, water slides and pony rides), the Floral gardens and Lotus Lake at the Court D'Aron and the miles of canals at the Marais Poitevin.

La Rochelle and the Il de Re are within an hours' drive and are both well Worth a visit.

Le Vieux Café is a well-restored three bedroom house that has views over the gardens, valley and towards the village centre. The house is set on two levels, with a comfy lounge and large kitchen on the ground floor, along with a shower room with modern shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven, ceramic hob and large fridge freezer. An extendable dining table is in the kitchen, with space for up to 8 guests.

The lounge has leather sofas, a 32inch flat screen TV, with DVD player and UK and French TV channels. There is also Free, secure Wi-Fi for any devices that you may bring with you.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms; two with two single beds each and a large master bedroom (30m²) with double bed, single bed and cot. A third single bed can be added to one of the twin bedrooms.

A second bathroom is available on the first floor - with large shower cubicle, hand basin and separate WC.

Outside there is a large private seating area with table and chairs for outside dining - this has great views over the gardens, towards the pool and valley below.

The gamesroom is well stocked with Table tennis, pool table, Xbox 360, dressing up clothes, board games, drawing materials and a huge DVD and book Library for your use.

The gym has a rowing machine, treadmill, bike, cross trainer and other Equipment. There is also a selection of bikes available to use (for adults and children)

The pool area is securely fenced off for the security of younger children. It is 12m x 7m and has a deep end of 1.5m and steps at the shallow end. The pool is open and heated from May until the end of September each year. This house shares the gardens, pool, gym and gamesroom with one other Holiday home - L'Ecurie - which is also available to rent.
