The Nomad's Cottage is located approx. 140 kms from Manali, in ‘ Losar’ at an altitude of 13400 ft …the first village when entering Spiti Valley via Kunzum La.

The Nomad’s Cottage is a 7 bedrooms premium homestay,

with two Sitting/Living rooms (Bethak) , a well equiped Kitchen and a small library.

The Cottage boasts of being the only decent concrete accommodation near to Chandra Tal (The Lake of The Moon) at 14100ft and Kunzum la at14931ft. Our Cottage is 2 hrs from the touristy ‘Kaza’.

Kunzum La : Approx. 19 kms from the cottage (1 hr)

Chandra tal aka The Moon Lake : Approx. 40 kms from the cottage (2 hrs)

Ki Monastery : Approx. 50 kms from the cottage (2.30 hrs)

Kaza: Approx. 58 kms from the cottage (2 hrs)

Manali : Approx : 140 kms (7 hrs / bad terrain after Rohtang la , hence it takes more time )

Wonderful stay !

We had a great stay at the Nomads cottage. The surroundings are very scenic and the view from the rooms was amazing. Very neat and clean rooms and very good service . Loved the food as well!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sahil (the owner) a message.

If Sahil (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
