The villa is totally walled in providing good security, there is a good sized swimming pool set in gardens with outside shower, ample non slip terracing with sun beds, large balcony with dining table & chairs with views down to the beach and out to the ocean. The beach is approx. a 3-4minute walk away
The beach offers first class facilities and is popular with the local and visiting Portuguese and it is home to two quality beach restaurants & 2 others all within a few minutes walk of the development

The Algarve enjoys over 3000hrs of sunshine per year and the best places of interest are the west coast beaches, Porto de Mós beach which is only minutes walk away, Lagos old town, the Monchique mountains & shopping facilities in central Portimão & Algarve shopping, Albufeira.

The Lagos / Porto de Mos area
There are 2 restaurants located on Porto de Mós beach, only 3.4 minutes walk away, the beach itself is approx. 1.5kms long protected from the wind by high cliffs, there are shallow rock pools at low tide on either side of the beach and the whole location is great for families, in fact the nationals & locals use this beach more than any other in the area. Lagos is approx.
3kms away and can be walked within 25 minutes, taxis are abundant and cost around €7, people from the area can be seen walking into town and taxiing back. Local coffee shops are very close as is an international supermarket, golf course and for people with special need a private hospital.
Summer temperatures in the western Algarve are high however with the close proximity to the beach the gentle sea breezes are a real welcome during summer months.

We have visited Portugal for more than 20 years and Lagos (in particular Porto de Mos) is the best location in the Algarve. This villa overlooks the sea, you wake up in the morning to waves rolling in and a blue sky - perfect.
This Villa is new, clean with wonderful views. The villa is modern and spacious and easily accommodates 8 people. Modern kitchen and bathrooms with all facilities. The lounge has satellite TV with 100's of channels - ideal when you just want a night in.
This Villa is imaculate, ultra clean, with all the facilities you could require.
Within 100 yards there is a restaurant on the beach that has wonderful food, wonderful for a lunch snack but brilliant for an evening meal, fabulous food watching waves roll in off the Atlantic and not expensive or pretentious.
Unspoilt paradise - visit before it gets discovered.

Firstly, the owner (John) was very helpful, meeting us on our arrival, offering us advice for our holiday and finally making sure we enjoyed our holiday when we departed.
The Villa itself really is how it's described on the website. It's immaculate throughout, with fixttures, fittings and appliances all top quality. The air conditioning made the holiday so much more comfortable (especially for our children) and even the garage (which has secure direct access into the house and electric gates & doors to the front of the property) was kept cool.
There were only 6 of us staying at the Villa but it could have catered for more. The pool was a good size however a liitle too deep if you are not a confident swimmer or have small children.
The views from balcony are special! We actually saw dolphins one morning!!!! The beach is only a few minutes walk away and has two restaurants which are ideal. One is more suitable for snacks however it stays open until late into the evening and the other one is more suited to evening meals (although is still open during the day for snacks).
Lagos is only a few minutes drive although I would suggest too far to walk. Unfortunately there is'nt a local shop within walking distance but there is a big supermarket within 3 minutes drive.
Overall, we would highly recommend this villa. We had a wonderful holiday and are sure we will have another holiday here in the future.

Villa exactly as portrayed in advert unlike others we've visited! It is immaculate with high quality fixtures and fittings (could have done with a clean mid-week instead of just a towel and linen change but this can be arranged). Gaarage attached which is great to keep transport cool. The owner is very friendly and helpful - repyling immediately to any questions I posed. Just a few minutes walk to the beach with two restaurants - one good for snacks and the other both for snacks and evening meals.
Location handy for the many restaurants in Lagos and Luz. Within easy access of many activities - our kids did a scuba diving taster course with a lesson at a local hotel pool then a dive close by in Luz, go-karting at a fantastic brand new track just 10 minutes drive away, dolphin watching in a glass bottomed boat in Lagos (saw in excess of 30 dolphines within 5 minutes of getting out into open sea) and a boat trip to visit the coves around the Porto de Mos coast line.
Would thoroughly recommend this villa and would certainly rent again next time we visit Portugal.
