Villa da Naranja is a stunningly designed, Miami beach style, home with three bedrooms and superb outdoor lounge area, kitchen and dining area. There is a large pool, and the villa is exquisitely furnished, making it ideal for the discerning holiday maker that wants both quality and convenience as the villa is just 10 minutes' walk from the centre of the historic town of Lagos with Boavista Championship golf course just 1.5 km.

Internally, the villa has three large bedrooms, including one on the ground floor with a wet room, making it suitable for the elderly/less able. All bedrooms open out to a terrace (the terrace for the first floor bedrooms are absolutely huge) and the villa has views over the countryside to Boavista golf course. The villa is fully equipped with an ultra modern kitchen and has fully Sky TV.

Villa da Naranja is furnished to an exceptional standard, and provides a Miami beach style of living due to the open plan layout of the villa and the outstanding outdoor areas with its kitchen, BBQ lounge area and dining areas around the pool. The bed linens are of an exceptional quality and the kitchen comes with everything you could possibly want for indoor/outdoor dining. The ground floor bedroom with wet room, and disabled ramp into the property, makes this an ideal place to stay for the less able/elderly.

The ground floor terrace and garden is absolutely superb with its large pool, outdoor kitchen/bbq and lounge seating and dining area. There is a lovely pergoda to provide additional shade (the garden and pool are real sun traps) and the outdoor lounge area makes it a very relaxing place to stay, yet is within just 10 minutes' walk of the town of Lagos.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

The Western Algarve is a superb place to visit - it is less crowded than the central or East parts of the Algarve and the coastline and inland countryside is spectacular and has everything you could possibly want for a holiday, and provide an opportunity to see the 'real' Portugal. There is every kind of sport available, from tennis through to water sports, dune buggying, microlighting and superb walking, bird watching opportunities.

The Lagos / Porto de Mos area

The historic town of Lagos is a real gem, with its cobbled streets, hundreds of restaurants, marina, shops and nightlife. Although visited by many tourists each year, it still retains a real Portuguese feel and is a wonderful place to be if you're into culture, history, beaches, nightlife or good eating. Porto do Mos is a lovely residential beach area, with spectacular cliffs and a large clean sandy beach with some superb beach side restaurants. Water sports abound in Lagos, Porto do Mos and Luz, and there is horseriding, tennis, golf etc within just five minutes' drive.

Villa da Naranja is located in the historic town of Lagos, which is 50 minutes, easy motorway drive, from Faro airport. Most budget/scheduled airlines in Europe fly to Faro, and if you are coming from further afield then Lisbon airport is just 2.5 hours away.

“Fantastic Place to Stay” Recently stayed in Villa Naranja with friends. We had a great time! Everything was clean and tidy, great living spaces and comfortable beds. Decorated to a very high standard and suitable for a large group of people. Nice, quiet area and only about 15 minute walk into town (and only a few euros to get a taxi back in the evening!). Brilliant outdoor bbq area and outdoor furniture too! Men liked the games room (would be great for teenagers). Well equipped Kitchen (although some of the utensils and pots/pans could do with being replaced) - great american style fridge to keep wine/food nice and cool. There isn't much to do in the immediate vicinity of the villa, but beaches are only a short drive away and town centre within walking distance. Caroline was very helpful and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The list of restaurants and guide to the area supplied by Caroline was fantastic. We visited some of the places on her list and we were not dissapointed! Much cheaper than heading into town without a clue! Can't reccomend this place enough - we would definitely return.

“Convenient modern villa” We had a relaxing family holiday in luxury, the children (aged 9) loved the pool.The Villa was equipped with everything we needed and more, My mother who had broken her ankle 2 weeks before our holiday managed to get around in a wheelchair. It was nice to be able to walk into town (10 mins to top of town). I have to say the best part of the holiday had to be the fantastic restaraunts recommended by Caroline. Have to mention the not expected games room! In the basement which gave some good pool tournaments on the rainy days.

“Fantastic villa, location & value for money, would recommend to anyone.” This place really is a great villa, it has everything you could want, fully equiped kitchen, T.V, games room (pool, table football, air hockey & X box with seletion of games and D.V.D's) All three bedrooms are a good size and with plenty of wardrobe space. The pool and outside area's are beautifully kept and all in a secure & safe enviroment. The description on the web site is totally accurate, including location and walking distance into the town (altough it is a bit uphill going back - only 4 euros in a cab though) The place is kept very well and very clean, but still feeling comfortable. All the information we needed about how to get there from the airport, local restaurant reviews, useful phone numbers and other local info was sent to us as soon as we had booked and Caroline (prime algarve rentals) kept in contact with us from before we left to when we arrived, and made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome. I really wolud reccomend this place to anyone

We couldn't believe that such a large villa with private pool could be found so close to the town of Lagos (we have visited many times and almost given up finding somewhere large enough for our family, with pool but in a location that made walking to the town easy). "We had a superb time at Villa da Naranja. My 89 year old mother loved the fact that she had her own bedroom suite on the ground floor and was able to be a full part of the family. Although the description doesn't say this is wheel chair friendly (I guess because it doesn't conform to DDA), it is. The doors are large enough to use a wheel chair in and out and the ramp from the front gate to the pool and through the ground floor bedroom suite made it ideal for my mother who both uses a 'walker' and a wheel chair. On returning, my mother asked us to book the villa for her 90th birthday - which we have!"
