The apartment is furnished to the highest standard, there is a twin bedroom (can convert to double) with spacious wardrobes and sliding doors leading onto the balcony. The comfortable lounge/dining room also has sliding doors leading to the same balcony and there is a high quality sofa bed which can be made into a single or double bed. The well equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar opening through to the lounge.

The balcony is equipped with a BBQ and there is a table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining.
Conditions
We just loved this apartment and decor, it was close to everywhere, the beach was fantastic, now we just want to go back. Lagos is perfect for all ages; its a different class!

LAGOS is a thriving fishing port and market centre as well as being one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Algarve, with some superb beaches within walking distance. It was a favoured residence of Henry the Navigator, who used Lagos as a base for the African trade. Europe's first slave market was built there in 1441 in the arches of the Customs House, which still stands in the Praça da República near the waterfront.
On the waterfront and to the rear of the town are the remains of Lagos's once impregnable fortifications, devastated by the Great Earthquake. One rare and beautiful church which did survive was the Igreja de Santo António; decorated around 1715, its gilt and carved interior is wildly obsessive, every inch filled with a private fantasy of cherubic youths struggling with animals and fish. The church forms part of a visit to the adjacent Museu Municipal housing an extraordinarily eclectic collection of artefacts. To the east of Lagos is a splendid sweep of sand – Meia Praia – where our apartment is situated, there is plenty of space even at the height of summer. The promontory south is fringed by extravagantly eroded cliff faces, which shelter a series of tiny cove beaches. Praia de Dona Ana is also very picturesque, and there are the smaller coves of Praia do Pinhão, down a track just opposite the fire station, and Praia Camilo, a little further along. So there is plenty to see and do in this piece of heaven on earth!
The Lagos / Meia Praia area
Meia Praia beach is a massively long (5km) and open sandy beach that curves its way Eastward from Lagos Marina all the way to the Alvor Estuary. All kinds of facilities for those who enjoy water sports are available, from para-gliding to windsurfing to pedalos. There are some snack-bars dotted along its length. It is an ideal and safe beach for families. Parking spots are available along almost the entire length of the beach. Beautiful for early morning and late evening walks.
