Our lovely air conditioned apartment overlooking the sea is ideal for singles, couples and families looking for a relaxing getaway in beautiful surroundings. Situated close to the historic town of Lagos in the Western Algarve, its great for anyone who enjoys beach holidays, relaxing by the pool, sightseeing or water sports.
The apartment has been furnished in an appealing, contemporary style with guest's enjoyment, relaxation and comfort in mind. We've tried to think of all those little touches which people like on holiday: fresh bed linen, fluffy white towels, books & magazines to read by the pool, games to play with the children and travel guides on local attractions.
The heated swimming pools at Foz da ria are beautifully clean and ideal for all the family. The apartment looks out to sea with fantastic views over estuary and surrounding countryside. Watch the wind surfers during the day or after a hard day sunbathing on the nearby Meia Praia beach, why not dine al-fresco on the spacious balcony with a glass of wine watching the sun go down over the estuary?

In the beautiful gardens, there are two heated swimming pools; a large infinity pool for adults & older children and a small pool for the little ones to paddle in. There is also a children's playground with a slide and the gardens are enclosed with a security gate so they are very safe for the children.
The adults can enjoy exclusive use of the gym, jacuzzi and sauna and there is also a floodlit tennis court. We provide tennis racquets and balls or you can bring your own. The whole development is very clean and maintained to a high standard.

Share videoThe Algarve / West Algarve region
The Algarve is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday with a unique culture, stunning landscape, charming people and fabulous local cuisine. There are over 100 miles of sandy beaches and 3,000 hours of sunshine a year.
The Western Algarve is less developed than some other areas and near the apartment are some fantastic sandy beaches and areas to walk or cycle. The historic town of Lagos is nearby with its beautiful harbour, marina, castle, churches and excellent shopping facilities. There are plenty of things to do - sightseeing, swimming, wind surfing, horse riding, golf, tennis, fishing, water parks, go karting, football, and even dolphin watching!
The climate in the Algarve is very favourable with temperatures reaching 32 degrees in the main summer months with cooler temperatures throughout the rest of the year. Being near the coast, there is often a pleasant breeze to keep you cool but you can usually be guaranteed plenty of sunshine lying by the pool or on the beach.
The Algarve is famous for its golf courses and there are over 30 courses in the region to choose from.
The Lagos / Vale de Lama area
Lagos itself is a quaint fishing town with winding cobbled streets, outdoor restaurants and a lively atmosphere. Some of the best sandy beaches in the Algarve are nearby and its ideal for all kinds of watersports.
There are plenty of things for the children to do - visit Lagos Zoo, the Zoomarine aquarium, nearby water parks and the John Aldridge Soccer School.
For the grown ups, there are several excellent golf courses, tennis, walking, swimming, bicycle hire, boat trips, windsurfing, kite surfing and jet skiing are all available locally. The new Algarve International motor racing circuit is 10 mins away. There are several beach bars on nearby Meia Praia beach, restaurants and bars at Lagos Marina and weekly markets in Loule & Portimao.
If you like diving, there is an excellent place to learn to dive with a PADI certificate diving school. Lagos is on the edge of the Costa Vicentina nature reserve and there are some excellent horse riding stables nearby.
Lagos has its own cinema with the latest films shown in English or why not visit the Governor's Castle and Fortress. At night the shops are open late with street entertainers, market stalls and outdoor restaurants.

Car hire
We recommend you hire a car so you can travel around and get to all the best places, restaurants and beaches. All of the major car rental companies have depots at Faro airport including Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz. You may also want to try some of the brokers on the internet such as Carjet, Holiday Autos and Holiday Cars Direct for competitive deals.
We can arrange for a hire car to be delivered to your apartment if you wish. Please let us know when you book.
By rail
There are a number of routes from the UK to Portugal. Check on the excellent web site www.seat61.com for more details. The total journey time via Lisbon down to the Algrave is approximately 27 hours.
