Located in DomusIberica 4* Club in the pretty fishing village of Burgau. The beach is a short walk down through the pretty cobbled streets of the village which has ample bars and restaurants, small shops and a daily market. Praia da Luz , a 5-minute drive, has a wider choice of shops, restaurants, bars and water sports while the historic walled town of Lagos, 10 minutes drive, has more shopping, eating and drinking choices, as well as a large marina, Meia Praia beach and a zoo. A regular bus service connects Burgau, Luz and Lagos and the local beaches and nearby water parks.
The air conditioned apartment has very comfortable living space, excellent kitchen, stylish bathrooms, lovely bedrooms and large veranda with sea views.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
A large unspoilt natural park stretches west from Burgau to Cape St. Vincent and then north towards Lisbon with miles and miles of dramatic cliffs, sandy coves and coastal villages and deserted beaches.
The rugged Atlantic coast in the west is superb for surfers, and a visit to Cape St. Vincent with its ancient lighthouse is a must and is under 20 minutes drive away. With scores of clifftop walks the whole area is paradise for bird watchers, nature lovers and photographers.
Inland are cork and oak forests and the Monchique mountains with scenery and villages largely unchanged by time and the ancient town of Silves with huge well preserved walled castle, narrow streets and many local crafts.
The wonderful climate with hot summers, tempered by gentle sea breezes, and mild winters makes it an attractive away from it all destination at any time of year.
Lagos / Burgau area
With a friendly atmosphere, gorgeous beach, small shops, ATM, a small daily market and good restaurants Burgau has everything you need for your holiday.
Take a 5 minute drive to Luz (or the cliff top walk) for chemist, Bank and larger shops. The Beach Hut in Luz offers all kinds of water sports, tuition and kids days, as well as dolphin boat trips and fishing.
Burgau Sports Centre has tennis, squash and football and nearby Tiffany's riding stables offer good rates.
Superb Golf Courses nearby: Parque da Floresta, and Boa Vista Golf both 10 minutes drive away. A little further is Palmares Links, Alto Golf and Penina Golf. All welcome visitors, require proper dress code & handicap cert.
The Saturday morning farmer's market in Lagos has country characters and local produce at its best, and daily fish markets display fish you may never have seen before!
