This stylish 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment is perfectly located within the award winning 'Lagos Marina' in the stunning Western Algarve. Exclusively for the guests staying in this small complex is the fantastic swimming pool with separate children's pool, beautiful gardens surrounded by Olive trees and a plentiful supply of sunbeds. The apartment is beautifully furnished & has been designed with your comfort in mind. (Air conditioned and Plasma TV's with SKY) Patio doors open out on to a large private balcony which overlooks the pool & gardens and offers views of the Marina and the historical town of Lagos. There is a table for 'Al fresco' dining and sun loungers for relaxing!
From the apartment it is a 5 minute stroll to all the waterfront restaurants, bars & shops of this beautiful Marina. A further 5 minute stroll accross the Marina footbridge takes you in to the cosmopolitan town of Lagos where its maze of cobbled streets are lined with Cafes, restaurants & stylish shops. The stunning Meia Praia beach is an 8 minute walk from the apartment and offers 5km of soft golden sand. With everything on your doorstep it is ideal for those who do not wish to drive. Perfect place for families with children, couples and golfers. There is a well stocked supermarket 3 mins walk from the complex.

It has over 200 miles of sandy beaches & stunning coastlines to explore, some of the best being a stones throw away from the apartment! The Algarve is a great destination for families with attractions such as ZooMarine and Slide&Splash. The Portuguese hospitality is second to none and Lagos is a great place to sample the delicious local food & wine! The Algarve has recently been voted 'the best golfing destination in Europe' and has an abundance of world class courses, within a short drive of the apartment.
Lagos / Marina area
The apartment in situated within the exclusive 'Lagos Marina' which is said to be one of the most beautiful Marina's in Europe! It offers a fine selection of waterfront bars and restaurants where you can sit and admire the many yachts moored in its calm waters. There are many excursions leaving from the Marina including: Boat trips, Dolphin watching, Scuba diving, Fishing and Sailing. It is also home to the 'Marina spa & health club' .
Just accross the footbridge from the Marina is the old town of Lagos, it is a unique little jewel in the Western Algarve with more than 2000 years of history! Protected by its 16th century walls the town retains an old world Portuguese charm. Stylish boutiques, delicious restaurants and pavement cafe bars line the maze of cobbled streets. The beaches in Lagos are some of the most beautiful in the Algarve, the best one is called Meia Praia and it is an 8 minute walk from the apartment. It offers 5km of soft golden sand which stretches from the Marina all the way to Alvor. Meia Praia beach is sprinkled with lovely beach bars serving refreshing drinks & fresh food, a great place to watch the sun go down! 20 minutes from Lagos is the old Moorish town of Silves, with its beautiful castle, said to be the Algarves finest, which dates back to Roman times. A visit to Sargres is also recommended where you can visit the fortress of Henry the Navigator! To get the best views, visit the traditional Algarvian village of Monchique, at 902m it is the highest spot in the Algarve! Blue skies, sunshine & the warm sub tropical climate ensures flowers & vegetation grow in abundance all year round. Eating out is important in Portuguese life and is based on fresh local produce. A holiday at apartment 'Chic' offers something for everyone, with everything on your doorstep you can do as much or as little as you choose. A Car is not required.
How to get there
Daily flights operate from the UK to Faro airport. The apartment is a pleasant 45 minute drive west from Faro airport along a quiet motorway. Private airport transfers can be arranged for you at the time of booking, the driver will collect you from Faro airport and drop you off right outside the front door of the apartment where Corinne, our apartment manager, will be waiting to greet you. Once you are at the apartment a car is not required as everything you could wish for is only a few minutes walk away! If you plan to explore further a field you may choose to hire a car. There are many car hire companies based at Faro airport which can be booked online before you travel. There are ample car parking facilities at the Marina complex. Full directions to the apartment will be provided on booking.

Balcony: The lounge opens on to a very large, private balcony which overlooks the Pool, Gardens & Marina. There is a dining table & chairs for 'Al fresco' dining and 2 sun loungers for relaxing.
Maid service: The apartment is cleaned on a weekly basis with a complete change of bed linen & towels, added to this there is an extra change of towels in the middle of each week. You are kindly requested to bring your own towels for use on the beach or by the pool.
Further details outdoors: On your arrival at the apartment, our apartment manager Corinne will be there to greet you and help you settle in. She will be contactable throughout your stay should you need any assistance. This apartment is 'the' place to stay to enjoy the many attractions of Lagos with out the need of a car. It is part of the award winning Marina complex, therefore it is maintained to an extremley high standard. An added bonus is that it is the only complex on the Marina to boast its own private swimming pool. (others complexs have to pay to use the pool located at the marina hotel!) This is for the sole use for the guests staying in this complex and is gated to ensure its exclusivity is maintained and also to provide a safe area for children to play.
Lagos is a unique little jewel in the Western Algarve has chosen to develop its tourism with taste & class, it offers the balance of the charm & history of the Portuguese culture with blend of creature comforts & 5 star facilities. The beaches around Lagos are some of the most beautiful in the Algarve. A short car ride will take you to a host of magnificent courses. From the apartment Palmares Golf is 5 mins & Boavista Golf 10 mins .
Further details
We require a 30% deposit on booking (non refundable) and payment of the balance 2 months prior to your holiday. Payment accepted in UK Pound or Euro by cheque, bank transfer or credit card. No smoking inside the apartment, on the balcony only please. Towels are provided for use inside the apartment, however you are kindly requested to bring your own towels for use on the beach and by the pool.
