The apartment is overlooking Porto Mos beach and is on the outskirts of Lagos town. It is a beautiful quiet location but still within walking distance to the historic town of Lagos. Lagos offers many excellent restaurants and bars, opportunities for sightseeing and activites such as golf, dolphin watching, a zoo and marine park.
The apartment itself is fully kitted out for self catering and has all modern conveniences such as sky TV, dishwasher, microwave and air-conditioning. There is a double room and a twin room and 2 bathrooms so it is perfect for families or couples. There is a large living area and a spacious terrace which is equipped for dining and barbecues.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The Algarve is an excellent holiday destination with activites for all. It has around 300 days of sunshine and is ideal for a holiday at any time of the year. It is a favourite for golfers, families or couples wishing to enjoy activites such as walking, swimming, waterparks, shopping, golf, visits to historic sites or simply relaxing.
Lagos / Porto de Mos area
Lagos is a large town that used to be the capital or the Algarve and as such is steeped in history. It is approx 80km from Faro airport on the motorway so travel time from the airport is generally less than 1 hour. The old town was fortified by walls which are still intact today and there are a number of significant historical sites and churches. Today its cobbled streets are lined with shops, bars and great restaurants. There is also a marina where there are restaurants and many opportunities for boat trips out to sea. There is a marine park, a zoo and waterparks are within easy driving distance. There are several beaches with safe swimming and surfing - all of which have restaurants and bars.
How to get there
Monarch, Thomson, easyjet, BMI Baby, first choice and a number of tour operators fly to Faro from all main UK airports. We recommend Zitauto cars or Auto Jardim for cheap and reliable car hire from the airport.

Further details indoors: This is a new apartment in a luxury block, we have furnished it to a very high standard to ensure it is comfortable and enjoyable to use at any time of year. The pool is shared with 15 other 2 bed apartments and is surrounded by gardens and tiled area for sunbathing. The double room has an en suite shower and toilet and there is also a house bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, shower, toilet, basin and bidet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would have in your own home and leads out to the terrace through patio doors or into the spacious living area. The living area has 2 large sofas and dining facilties for 6. Outside, there is a further table for al fresco dining and 4 chairs. There are 6 loungers / relaxers available for use by the pool or on the terrace. A gas barbecue is available on request.
We ask that guests smoke only outside on the terrace - not inside the apartment.
Further details outdoors: The apartment building is very secure with locked gates, keypad entry and entry phone. It is part of a larger complex of villas and luxury apartments but it is generally quiet as there is no through road.
