About the home

New luxurious 4 Bedroom Villa, sleeps 8 plus, with all the mod cons, decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Air Conditioning is by the Cool House system. Under floor and skirting heating.
The villa has its own heated swimming pool in a lovely private gated garden.
Having 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the ground floor, and 2 spacious bedrooms with en suites upstairs
The 2 upstairs bedrooms have doors that open onto a south sun terrace/balcony. And a rear shaded northly/west balcony with country/mountain views, for that evening glass of wine.
A new fully equipped luxury kitchen,black granite work tops and all the normal mod cons.
With a Dining area and an 8 seater table and a spacious living room,complete with a 36" Flat Screen TV with most Sky Channels, Sports1,2,3. BBC,ITV and DVD/CD players.and a log effect fire.
The Villa has beautifully landscaped well looked after private gated gardens with lawned areas and an extended pool terrace with a large Heated Swimming Pool having sunbeds, tables, chairs and a BBQ for your stay.
We have 4 new Tennis Courts and a Children's Play area at the Wellness Centre, which also has Internet and
Wi Fi, all are a short 2 min walk on the development.
Golf is at Boavista or Parque de Floresta a 5 min drive, with many more courses a little further. Horse riding and stables are a 5 min drive also. Cycling/bike hire available please request. Walking routes to Luz, Salema and more please ask. And the beautiful Burgau Beach and Village with restauraunts and small bars are only a short 3 min drive away. Many other beautiful algarve beaches are within a short drive from the villa.

Facilities

Air conditioning is from the Eco Friendly Low Energy Coolhouse System. And for winter months a log effect fire with centraly heated skirting and under floor heating to kitchen/bathrooms for the cooler months.
The villa is suitable for all ages and all types of holidays, for an energetic or relaxing holiday or just a romantic break for 2.
High chairs,cots,push chais and safty gates are available, please request.
Golfing, tennis, walking, horse riding, cycling or exploring the beautiful countryside and the national park area with local historic sites makes the villa an 'ideal base'.
Or if you prefer to relax and stay at the Villa we have Satellite TV, BBC1/2 ITV, SKY SPORTS, and for the young ones CBeebies and a DVD, CD players provided for your/ children entertainment.
We also have a full range of books for your use.
The fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons has patio doors that open onto the pool side and large terrace with a heated swimming pool , table, chairs and loungers are in place for breakfast/any meals outside. Also in the morning the front balcony will have you up early for coffee and fresh orange as the sun rises.
Beach towels are now provided at our villa please request.

A Master Bedroom with a kingsize bed,that can split if needed with en suite, shower ect.
Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds (can be ziped and arranged as kingsize bed). with en suite bath and shower.
Bedroom 3 located on the ground floor with 2 single beds (can be arranged as kingsize bed).
Bedroom 4 located on the ground floor with as king size bed but can be arranged as singles.
A ground floor bathroom to serve bedrooms 3 and 4 has a washbasin toilet with bath and shower.

Cleaning and Laundry Service
The villa will be fully cleaned for your arrival and all beds made up.Towels and linen are changed weekly.
For rentals going into 2 weeks a full clean and linen change is done mid stay, if you need more just ask.
On your departure we are very gratefull if you would leave the villa in a clean condition.
Extra maid service at an extra cost can be arranged please request when booking.

Baby sitting service can be arranged by the management team, details in advance please.

We can arrange for a food pack, wine, beer for your arrival, you can pay us or the management team direct.

Underfloor heating and heated towel rails in all bathrooms for your comfort.
Showers are in all bathrooms, with Baths in 2 of them.

Cots High Chair and Zed beds are available for hire from reception.
High chair and other items also from reception, the Alma Verde Team are very helpfull.

A large Private Swimming Pool (heated) , large terrace, patio tables, chairs and loungers.
A BBQ is available for your use. The Villa has its own private gated garden that provides a safe environment for children to play in. The property is also protected by a fully monitored Security Alarm System and has its own safe private driveway for parking your cars.
Alma Verde is an award winning development with new private tennis courts for use by Alma Verde owners and guests, raquets can be hired from the Wellness Centre.
Many beauty treatments, yoga instruction and more are available on site ask at reception!
Internet access and WiFi are at the Wellness Centre also, a short 3min walk
The Children's play area with climbing frame, swings and seating are next to tennis courts.
Bike hire, see reception. Boat Hire at the Lagos Marina.
GOLF, well you are spoilt for choice, Boavista Golf Club offers superb facilities an impressive 18 hole championship golf course, swimming pool, gym and driving range.
Parque de Floresta has had some reshaping and is a challange for many. Many more are 20 to 40 mins away and must be played.

Refundable breakages deposit of 300 euro is required on booking, to be refunded (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
A deposit of 30% is required upon booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to departure. Your deposit and breakage deposit can be paid by cheq or credit card.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

Burgau Village/Beach is 4km from the Villa with its sheltered beach and the famous Beach Bar/Restaurant which is renowned for it's friendly atmosphere and staff.(in the same family for over 35 years)
Burgau has many restaurants, Portuguese, to international cuisine,and many friendly Bars. Salema beach is
5 mins away and again has many nice restaurants and Bars.

Golf, Golf, Golf and more golf a paradise for those keen golfers, try one of the championship golf courses, Boavista or Parque de Floresta and many more on the Algarve, coupled with the 300 days of sunshine make the villa an ideal short or long break destination.

The town, marina and beaches at Lagos, are only 10km from the villa and features the 5km of golden sand and a marina with boat hire and dolphin trips.
More beaches can be found in nearby Luz with good water sports at Chico's.
Restaurants, bars and Baptista supermarket with all the food ect you need is central in Luz.
Explore the lovely algarves sandy beaches most with beach bars further west and up the west coast its breathtaking.
Cape St Vincent lighthouse with its stunning views over the cliffs as one of the largest lighthouses in Europe its well worth a visit.And the surfing has people traveling from all over, give it a go.
The new Auto drome circuit is 20 mins away why not visit for track days also many car and bike events all year.

The Lagos / Burgau area

Portugals/Western Algarves climate is mild and lots of sunny days with little rainfall.And makes it the ideal place to come for autum and winter Golf.
Autum and winter are mild you will need a jacket for the evening. Burgau is a charming fishing village and popular for those seeking long beautiful sunny days, overlooking the beach and beach bar, built on a hillside, with fishermans cottages narrow cobbled streets down to the horese shoe shaped beach. Fishermen mending nets and dealing with their catch. Many divers meet here and for some stuning dives. Nice local shops, restaurants and bars are in Burgau serving food day and night.
Large supermarkets in Luz or on the N125 only 5 minute drive. Zoomarine is probably the most well known theme park in the Algarve, located on the outskirts of Guia on the EN125. With over 8 hectares of leisure, entertainment and education, including dolphin and sea lion shows, amusements, swimming pools, restaurants and shops. Open all year round and an excellent day out for all the family. The fast train to Lisbon which takes around two & half hours leaves from Lagos station behind the marina pick up a schedule of trains to Lisbon, notice the number of stops on route as this will impact the duration, the train pulls into Oriente train station the site of the Expo 98 Worlds Fair given you direct access to the centre of Lisbon. You can then catch a train to see the Lisbon coastal regions, Cascais, Estoril or visit Sintra a magically town with its moorish castle and Pena Palace. Further afield consider a trip to Porto famous for its Port making and the Douro valley region with its river cruises and breathtaking panoramas over the Douro valley.
Many superb Golf courses Parque de Floresta a good challenge, set in rolling hills complete with acadamy, gym and driving range. Boavista Golf Club offers superb facilities and the stuning 18 hole course feels as if its always been there with lots of water! A new club house, swimming pool, gym and driving range attracts from all over the word, and we are only 5 mins away. Palmares with breathtaking scenery part of the course in the park and then onto the links makes it worth a visit. 10 mins. Pennina 20 mins, again fantastic, with Villamora ect within 40 mins.
Coastal walks from Luz through Burgau via the cliff tops into the estury of Boca do Rio home to many species of bird and then finaly on to Salema(11km/ 4hrs) There are many inland walks which reveals rural Algarve at its best. Hill walks in the Monchique provide rewarding startling views that extend all the way to the coast.

Fantastic location, absolutely beautifully furnished and decorated Villa. We felt very welcome and all so helpfull at Alma Verde.The area and west coast has many wonderful beaches, with little rustic beach bars,and simply walking along the beaches makes you feel so good. Will definitely come back and recomend your villa.
