Our luxury 2 bedroom holiday apartment occupies a prime frontline golf position on the Championship Boavista Golf Resort in the Western Algarve. The Boa vista Resort is located just five minutes from Lagos with its narrow cobbled streets lined with white washed architecture, boutiques and some of the best restaurants in Portugal.
You can be as active or relaxed as you wish. Take on the challenge of one of the Algarve’s best golf courses, maybe a leisurely stroll around the bustling marina where you can browse the sports cruisers and yachts, or simply sit and people watch at one of the cafes. Spend a lazy afternoon sunning on one of the several superb blue flag beaches just five minutes away - including Praia da Luz and Porto de Mos. The Algarve / West Algarve region

Choose your personal itinerary. Travel west and explore the quieter picturesque fishing villages of Salema and Burgau or discover your very own isolated beach for the day. At Sagres and Cape St Vincent you can stand on the most south-westerly point in continental Europe where the ancients thought the world ended.
Take a refreshing drive inland to the spectacular Monchique mountains. Discover small spa villages clustered on the hillsides and explore the surrounding green countryside. The mountains offer breathtaking views, where on a clear day you can see from one end of the Algarve coastline to the other.
Lagos / Boavista area
Just a five minute drive away is the historic fishing town of Lagos, arguably the most attractive town in the Algarve. Lagos combines old cobbled streets with traditional restaurants and contemporary bars. Browse the sports cruisers and trans-Atlantic yachts at the bustling Lagos marina or simply sit and people watch at one of the café bars. It is also home to the truly spectacular 6km Meia Praia beach, one of the longest and most spectacular beaches in the Algarve.
Lagos is also rich in culture. There are many historic buildings including churches, museums, galleries and Europe’s first 15th Century slave market. The impressive town walls, still largely intact, date back to Roman times. Lagos was also the home of Henry the Navigator, famous for the voyages of discovery that changed both Portugal and the world.
The picturesque blue flag beach resorts of Praia da Luz and Porto de Mos are also only five minutes away. The beach at Luz is stunning with lots of facilities such as water sports, bars, cafes, small shops and restaurants. Perfect for those who want a relaxing beach holiday.
How to get there
Fly to Faro Airport and then hire a car, we can arrange car hire. Low cost flights to Faro take a little over 3 hours and can often be found through the following airlines:

Further details indoors: The accommodation includes living room with dining area, kitchen, en suite twin bedded master bedroom and a second twin bedded bedroom with large separate bathroom.
The apartment has satellite TV and 20" LCD TV's in the bedrooms, ipod dock, DVD & high-speed wireless Internet access is also available, great for keeping in touch while on holiday.
The apartment is cleaned, plus the linen and towels are changed once per week. If you require a daily maid service this can be arranged at a surcharge. Linen and towels are provided (not beach towels).
An electronic security safe is also permanently fitted to store your valuables.
The apartment is protected by electric roller shutters to all windows, which in addition to keeping the property secure, also keeps the apartment cool during the day and ventilated during the night.
Cots and highchairs can be provided. Children welcome, non smoking only, pets not allowed.
Further details outdoors: Both balconies have stunning golf views overlooking the 1st green and the whole of the 17th hole, plus they get the sun all day. The balcony in the early evening is the ideal spot to look out over the manicured greens and enjoy the spectacular, multi-coloured sunsets.
There is a garden table with four chairs on each balcony and two sun loungers.
The apartment also has the benefit of a garage to securely store your golf clubs.

Resort Facilities Other facilities on the resort include: large outdoor & indoor heated swimming pools, children's pools, spa/health club, two tennis courts, five a side football, children's play area and landscaped gardens. Guests also get a 10% discount at the clubhouse restaurant, which serves light meals throughout the day and offers excellent cuisine in the evening. Also on the resort is Monte’s Restaurant & Coffee Lounge which offers gourmet blends of coffee, home baked pastries, light lunches and Mediterranean style cuisine in the restaurant.

Boavista Golf The Boavista resort offers a unique and enjoyable golfing experience. The freshly manicured rolling fairways weave their way between water hazards and shrewdly placed bunkers, providing a variety of challenges for golfers of all abilities. In addition to the 18-hole championship golf course, there is a teaching academy, driving range, pitching and chipping area, practice bunkers and putting green.
Green Fees Per Person 2008; High Season Feb-May, Sep-Nov, 18 Holes €57, Low Season Jun-Aug, Dec-Jan, 18 Holes €41.25. Guests receive a 25% reduction in Boavista green fees when booking this apartment, plus we can also book discounted golf at other golf courses on the Algarve.
