Lagos / Meia Praia area
The birds will tell you getting in to Lagos and you´ll be sure as in your sight The Porto de Mós beach gets closer, then Pinhão, Batata... As you enter in the Lagos Marina, you´ll see at your left the down town, all the shops, the local market and you can feel that soft rush unique in Lagos. On your right side the breathtaking Meia-Praia beach, all the coast to Albufeira, the Palmares golf course, the great marina, great boats, great spirit! You must visit all the beaches not only walking as in a boat, and don´t forget your camera! You´ll never get anoid of being and walking around downtown! Do you like golf? One course per day is fair enough?! Lagos, Tavira, Albufira are some of the cities that deserve a look and curiosity about all the history they kept... Without any question Sagres, the eastern point in Europe is unique and you´ll see, feel and understand why!!
How to get there
Almost every low-cost and major airlines, like British Airways, TAP, Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, etc, fly from the UK to Faro and Lisbon all-year round! Major car hire companies(hertz, avis, etc) are also in the airports and everywhere in Algarve and Lisbon! The best to do is getting a car in Faro (or Lisbon) and go to Lagos, must take around 40/50 min drive! Take direction Albufeira, Portimão, Lagos and once in Lagos look for the Marina or Meia-Praia and you'll get there easily!
