This magnificent apartment has been furnished to the highest specification and is in a fantastic central location in the heart of Lagos. Perfectly positioned close to shops, bars, cafes and restaurants and within a short walk to the historical town centre, cosmopolitan marina and beaches.

This apartment has all the quality and comforts you would expect for a luxurious condominium. On entering you are immediately enveloped by its charm and attention to detail, from its original art work to its plush furnishings.
The spacious living area features relaxing seating for 6, a flat screen TV with satellite, Play Station 2 (PS2) console with 2 controlles + games, DVD/CD & radio linked through internal sound system in all rooms.
We can now provide our guest with the use of a new Laptop along with Wi-Fi / Broadband for a nominal charge depending on the duration of your stay. Please note this facility will need to be requested in advance.
The elegant dining area includes large dining table with ample seating for 6.
The spacious master bedroom comes complete with luxurious King sized bed, matching bedside lockers with elegant lamps, fully fitted wardrobes with an abundance of hanging space, sunken mood lighting, integrated sound system, safe and double patio doors opening to main terrace area.
The bright and airy second bedroom has 2 full sized single beds (a 3rd bed can easily be accommodated in this area - €50 additional cost per week), bedside locker with contemporary lamp and also has fully fitted wardrobes, sunken mood lighting, integrated sound system and double patio doors also leading to main terrace.
Both bedrooms are fully air conditioned (hot & cold) and the patio doors have external electric shutter blinds which help keep the rooms cool on hot sunny days and also allows for windows to remain open on those balmy nights. Also provided are additional pillows and blankets should they be necessary.

A complimentary meet and greet service at the apartment is included.
Changeover day is Saturday during the High / Peak season June to Sep but other days will be considered if booking calendar allows. At all other times changeover day is flexible.
The apartment will be available from 2pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Any reasonable variations on these timings where other booking commitments allow will be accommodated.
Maid service available at extra cost.

This apartment is managed locally by our English/Portuguese speaking representative who is on hand should you require any assistance.
We can arrange for private collection from and to Faro airport for a very reasonable €75 each way (maximum 4 persons). Details on request..
Conditions
Please note bookings not accepted if all members of the party are under 25 years of age.
A deposit of 30% of the rental cost is payable on initial booking with the remaining balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival date.
A security deposit against breakage of €150 is required and payable on day of arrival by either cheque or cash. This deposit is refunded on day of departure after a satisfactory inspection by our local representative.
An additional charge of €50 per bed per week applies if 3rd / 4th single bed(s) is requested.
Special rates and terms can be negotiated for longer / winter lets (electricity will be metered and charged separately)
Price inclusive of bedlinen (changed weekly) and bath towels (changed twice weekly). Beach /Pool towels not supplied.
All prices quoted are in euro and payments are made by Electronic Funds Transfer. Full detail supplied with Booking Form on request.

The Algarve is an ideal base for a relaxing family holiday with its unique culture, stunning landscape, charming people and delicious local cuisine, it is undeniably a destination you will return to year after year.
Right along the Western Coast at the tip of the Algarve is Cape St Vincent and its lighthouse with magnificent views originally thought to be the end of the world. About 40km inland is the Scenic Monchique Mountain range & beautiful old spa town of Cladas de Monchique. Why not visit some of the many local villages and towns where you will be overwhelmed by the genuine welcome bestowed on you by the locals.
The Algarve is famous for its golfing due to its all year round even climate. With over 30 courses in the region to choose from, including some impressive championship courses, you will be spoilt for choice.
The Lagos area
Lagos itself is a quaint fishing village with winding cobbled streets full of artisan shops, outdoor restaurants and a lively atmosphere. The cosmopolitan marina offers an assortment of fashionable eateries, shops and cafes to relax and unwind while watching the luxurious yachts in their moorings.
Many people visit the Lagos region solely for its vast expanse of sandy beaches and unique coves. Some of the best in the Algarve are to be found within a short distance from the apartment, including Meia Praia, Dona Ana, Porto de Mos and Luz. From the local beach you will have an array of watersports to choose from.
Nearby Luz is an excellent place to learn to dive with its PADI certificate diving school and is on the edge on of the regions largest Nature reserves Costa Vicentina. For those who love the countryside Horse Riding is nearby.
Lagos also has a cinema with some of the latest films shown in English or visit the Governor's Castle and Old Fortress, Lagos Museum or the old slave market to view art exhibitions. During the summer season there are frequent concerts at the amphitheatre close to the old town walls and the pedestrianised streets of the town centre come alive at night with street entertainers and busy outdoor restaurants.

The nearest airport is Faro which is easily acccessible through a large selection of scheduled and low cost charter flights. Lagos is approx a 50 minute drive from Faro on the new A22 motorway.
We can arrange collection from and to the airport for a very reasonable €75 each way - maximum of 4 people. More details on request.
There are numerous car hire companies to choose from at the airport. You can book directly on arrival in the terminal building or on line in advance. You can also take a taxi directly from the airport to the apartment for approx €105. We would recommend Faro Airport Transfer Service (www.algarvetransfersdirect.com / www.faroairporttaxis.net) as we found them very affordable and reliable.
For the cheaper option you can take a short taxi ride to Faro train station were you can pick up the local train to Lagos and enjoy the spectacular coastal views en route. Alternatively the local buses run approx every hour from Faro and will bring you directly into Lagos bus depot which is only a short walk from the apartment.

We have just returned from a week's holiday in this apartment. The owners have provided everything you could possible need and more. It is in a great location for the Marina and all the shops and restaurants in Lagos. It is not necessary to hire a car but as we have never visited Portugal before, we wanted to visit the surrounding area to plan future holidays. We travelled with two 17 year old girls and felt safe to leave them to visit the town alone both during the day and evening. We all used the pool complex most days which is conveniently situated to the apartment. We used the supermarket opposite the apartment for any provisions but chose to eat in the many varied restaurants in the town each evening which are up to a 20 minute stroll away. The sun shone every day and we all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would like to return. |

I would like to thank you for providing the perfect accommodation for myself and my family while on our annual holiday. This is by far the most luxurious apartment we have ever rented and the standard of the decour was not only exceptional but was also extremely comfortable. The photos in the advert just do not do it justice... We were pleasantly surprised by the well equipped large balcony and spent many pleasurable family days relaxing and keeping ourselves well fed with the BBQ. We even managed to spend some time in the gym, which was a bonus!!! The icing on the cake for me was the apartments proximity to the centre of Lagos town. Whitin minutes we were in the hub of things and yet the positioning of the apartment building ensured none of the towns noises ever reached us. I was amazed at the number of eating establishments and my particular favourite for morning coffee was the local café at the corner just a few doors up from the apartment. Every type of coffee imaginable and some pretty good pastries too.
We have now found our little piece of heaven and do not intend to loose it. Book us in again for our two weeks next June.
Can't wait for our return.

This summer we decided to do something different than our normal package holiday.We looked at some apartments in Lagos Portugal on the Holiday Rentals.co.uk site and decided that this beautiful apartment was where we would spend our holiday. From the moment that we set foot in the apartments foyer we were blown away by its luxurious surroundings. The apartment itself was large,airy,plush and well thought out.It had everything that we could have wanted and was like a home from home. There were dvds provided which kept the kids busy while we got ready to go out. The patio/garden area was unlike anything I have ever seen before. I only wish that I could have spent another week there to fully appreciate the bbq area and the sun loungers which were situated in the sun for most of the day.The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and extremely well mantained and there was plenty of room in it for all 5 of us.Lagos itself is a beautiful town,with many fine restaurants which cater for every taste. We especially enjoyed the fresh fish and seafood in Restaurate Reiss,which was recommended to us by the apartment owners. Another restaurant that the children especially enjoyed was Mamma Mias pizza restaurant which is situated in the main square.We enjoyed many walks at the marina and pier in lagos especially at night after a fine meal .If you are travelling to Lagos with children be sure not to miss a trip to the Zoo Marine. It was the highlight of the children's and adults holiday.There were dolphin shows seal shows and many other attractions including a fantastic slidepark. It is very reasonably priced and well worth a trip to.The beach in Lagos is beautiful and not overcrowded in any way. There are plenty of beach bars around.Our holiday to this apartment was our best ever holiday and has changed how we holiday forever. I look forward to returning there next year and in the future, thank you.

If you choose this apartment you will not be disappointed. It is very well equipped, very clean and very modern. It is a nice bright apartment with easy access on to the enormous veranda which catches the sun from noon onwards.
It will suit guests who choose not to hire a car as there are a couple of supermarkets within walking distance. Several restaurants are only minutes awy by foot and a pleasant stroll takes you into the centre of Lagos. The Marina, bus & train stations are also a short stroll away.
This was our first time to Lagos and we loved it. Karen was very helpful before we left Scotland and help is on hand should you require assistance during your stay.
Thank you Karen and family for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

Beautiful, well equipped, modern apartment situated a short walk from the marina and Lagos town centre.
The apartment is very clean and maintained and support through a local agent who was extremely helpful. There are 2 Supermarkets nearby and would recommend the local market(which is indoors) for fresh fish and then go upstairs for fruit and veg. We can't recommend any particular restaurant as they were all good. There are numerous coffee shops selling the most wonderful pastries and I was getting addicted to their cappucinos topped of with squirty cream.
The gym and pool were a great addition which we managed to use a few times.
Would recommend a trip to the beaches up near Aljezur which are stunning and great for surfing.
We have had several holidays on the Algarve but Lagos is by far our favourite place as it has everything we wanted and more! We highly recommend this apartment.
Tribabe, Aberdeenshire. Stayed August 08
The apartment is spacious and very clean. All you need for a lovely holiday is provided. The balcony/terrace is beautiful, with a patio with table and chairs, BBQ, sunloungers and a small garden. It is easy to find from the train station (about 15 minutes walk). There is a lift so people who have difficulty with stairs would have no problems.
There are 2 supermarkets very close by and the town centre and beaches are within walking distance, or for the less able there is a bus stop right outside that for one euro will take you to the marina, town and beaches. The owners are very helpful and approachable.
Lagos has something for everyone, boat trips, kayaking, good restaurants and bars, friendly people. My 75 year old mum, on her first trip to Portugal, enjoyed it as much as we did. We didn't have young children with us but when my children were young they would have loved the apartment, clean beaches and town. The people of Lagos are very child friendly as well.
We would recommend Piri Piri restaurant for good food at reasonable prices, (especially the fish), and friendly service. For those who like cocktails and friendly, fun bar staff Zanzibar is great - but be warned you may not notice the time passing and find yourself there still at 5am!!
The description of the apartment is accurate, which is a nice change! It is as good as it sounds.
We would definitely recommend it to our friends and would go back again.

We spent two weeks in August 2009 with our two little sons in this apartment and loved it! It's very spacious, clean and with a great layout. Everything you could wish for is there! The terrace is fantastic and it's easy to relax there. We very much enjoyed our breakfasts and BBQ's on the terrace. Lidl is just across the street and another very good supermarket just less than 5 min walk away (so fresh rolls in the morning were guaranteed)! We can highly recommend this apartment! So, 5 Stars from us!!!

We had 4 wonderful days in this superb apartment. Everything you could possibly need on holiday was provided. The location was perfect and handy for supermarkets, the harbour, two lovely beaches and the old town of Lagos. There are so many lovely restaurants within a few minutes of the apartment that it would be difficult to use them in one visit.... The terrrace is amazing and we spent many hours relaxing in the sunshine. At the end of the day it was fantastic to be able to use the gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The owner provided great customer service and we were met by her local representative who gave us lots of local information and provided us with a welcome pack containing all we needed for our first few hours at the apartment. We can honestly say that the description of the apartment is accurate and will certainly return again and have already recommended it to my brother and sister in law who are really interested in booking.

My husband and I had not been on an apartment holiday for 12years and in fact it was in Lagos, so we decided to try this beautiful apartment just by the photos (which dont do it justice) and we're not disappointed, very modern,clean and the owners made sure no matter what type of holiday you were after was totally accommodated for. We had b,fast out every morning at the coffee house that Karen had recomended and dinner every night at the fabulous restaurants in town some of which were the owners favourites. If we had wanted to, there was a fully fitted kitchen and a beautiful b.b.q. area where you could have a fantastic evening if you just wanted to chill out! Everything you could possibly want is here both in the apartment and the town of Lagos we have been so impressed that we are n the process of booking again, and for those who dont want to drive[ Rui who looks after the apt ]picked us up at the airport and also did the return which saved a lot of hassle not to mention how friendly and helpful he was, roll on next year! thank you Karen and family for letting us use your lovely home.

It was already our third time in the beautiful town of Lagos, but our first time to be really enthusiastic about our place to stay! Looking for an apartment to be more independent, we found this luxury spot by occassion and were lucky to stay there for a week. Being a "heavy traveller", never before I saw such a nice place without having to spend a fortune. Everything was arranged on our arrival and we got a warm welcome by the local agent, who is very helpful with everything. The apartment is really spacious, tastefully and comfortably furnished and you don't miss a thing - from BBQ spot on the terrace to the dishwasher and washing machine. An additional indoor pool and gym is just another bonus to really relax! And - most important - it is quiet there! And at the same time not far from the city centre. I'm looking forward to come back soon - and in the meantime I can highly recommend it.

It is difficult to describe our vacations in Lagos. Perfect? Wonderful? Unbelievable? All the words do not express our 14 days at this luxury apartment. We have never enjoyed such a best equipped holiday flat before. The property was clean, the customer service was perfect – we did not find anything that misses. I would recommend this property only to my friends. It is something very special.

This place is absolutely fantastic and made our stay in Lagos very enjoyable. From the moment we stepped through the door we were blown away at by the cleanliness décor and general ambiance of the place. It has all the comforts of home and more.
