Home description
This is a brand new private apartment completed in 2007 and finished to an exceptionally high standard. Edificio De Nora is an unique Atrium designed building comprising 6 floors. This building has an interior tropical garden, Indoor heated swimming pool, gym, sauna and steam rooms. Either of two lifts or the highly polished wide marble staircase, (if you feel the need for exercise) take you to the fifth floor where you will find our 3 bedroomed luxurious apartment. The building has a video entry system.
The apartment has a small entrance hallway leading to a beautiful spacious living and dining area with doors leading to a large terrace which boasts a built in BBQ area and equipped with dining table & chairs for you to enjoy dinng alfesco style. There is a wonderful large cream leather corner sofa which will easily accommodate 6 or more people. The dining room table with its high-backed turquoise chairs has a backdrop of a feature brick wall, adding a bit of texture to the area. A large flat screen TV with satelite added for your relaxation which will receive all uk channels.
The spacious master bedroom has a luxurious superking size bed, en suite with a jacuzzi shower and i private balcony where you can enjoy the sun. . The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have twin beds, but have facility to convert to double. Both these bedrooms share a complete bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. There is air conditioning throughout and central heating for those cooler evenings.
The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with table and chairs for those all important breakfasts, a door leads to the main balcony. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary equipment for you to prepare and serve your own meals.
The "pièce de résistance" is the indoor heated pool on the 3rd floor.(free of charge) Here you can relax by the pool on the provided sun beds after a day on the beach or golf course or alternatively enjoy the Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish baths, which are all on hand here. There is also a well equipped gym for those keen and health conscious as well as changing rooms.

Lagos is a unique little jewel in the western Algarve, it has chosen to develop its tourism with taste and class. It offers a balance of charm and history of the Portugeese culture. Lagos is arguably the most attractive town in the Algarve, a historic small fishing port of a population of cic. 20,000 near the glorious unspolit western end of the province. Spectaular sandy beaches and worldclass marina alongside championship golf courses including the Penina championship course where the Portugeese Open has been held many times. Many other sporting activities are available including sailing, wind surfing, fishing, para - sailing, scuba diving mountain biking and horse riding.
Lagos has far escaped the over building that has marred mch of the central coast. This place has preferred to retain its tranquil way of life. Lagos is neat, uncluttered and pedestrian friendly with its long waterfront promenade and recently constructed marina which is full of yachts passing or on way to the mediterranean and where you can find different boat trips, yacht hire and dep sea fishing outings.
The old town of Lagos has retained the fort and the stone walls constructed long before the Moors have been restored. The old town is closed to vehicles so you can browse thru the narrow cobbled streets lined with white washed architecture and boutiques that open onto tiled plazas with open air cafes and restaurants.

This modern and comfortable apartment is ideal for those who enjoy the good things in life. With it being within easy walking distance to shops and the town centre a car is not a necessity once you have arrived and a private parking space in the closed garage and secure storage room for your sports equipment means you can walk into the old town of Lagos and explore some of the finest restaurants in the Algarve. it is only a short drive from the Penina Championship golf course and Palmeres and Boavista nearby, making this an ideal property for those who also enjoy the winter breaks as well as the summer breaks.
There are a number of beaches nearby, Meia Praia beach is just 5 mins. drive away. A blue flag stretch of golden sands and one of the longest and most spectular in Algarve, you can walk the coastline to Portamaoi, and take the train back if you prefer. Other blue flag beaches Porto de Mos, Praia Dona Ana and Pria da Luz are minutes away. Lagos is rich in culture and has many historic buildings.Penina , Palmeras & Boavista golf courses a few minutes away.
How to get there
There is a wide selection of low-cost charter and schedule flights operating daily into FARO airport. Your onward car journey to Lagos is well sign posted and is approx 1hours drive from the airport. Please ask for details on booking. Also see: www.maps.google.co.uk Car hire and taxi transfers can be arranged for you. There is a regular daily train service from Faro to Lagos, trains run approx. hourly and train journey takes approx. 1hour 40 minutes, a taxi at Lagos station will take you to our apartment which is literally 5 minutes away at a little cost. The bus statiion is five minutes walk from our apartment and regular routes to Faro and nearby towns and resorts.

All rates are based on full house capacity of six people, A 20% deposit (non returnable) is required to secure a booking, the balance due 6 weeks before date of travel. A returnable breakage deposit of E200 or equivalent is required with the final payment. Stay is from 3pm on day of arrival through to 10 am on day of departure.
