The house has one double bedroom with en suite bath & shower, and a twin bedroom close to the main bathroom. The master bedroom opens onto a lovely south-facing veranda which has amazing sea views.
This villa has full air-conditioning which is included in the price.
The idyllic sandy beach is just 5 minutes walk from the villa down the cobbled streets of the traditional fishing village of Burgau, which has friendly people, colourful fishing boats, wonderful climate, great food from a wide choice of local restaurants and bars. The small local daily market , and the red mobile Post Office present a photo opportunity each morning!

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The Algarve is one of Portugal's most attractive holiday destinations, and it is easy to see why. It has the perfect climate - with long hot summers tempered by gentle ocean breezes, mild winters and more than 3,000 hours of sunshine each year.
Faro is only about 2 hours flying distance from the UK and Ireland, and there is no time difference so you don't have to re-set your watch! While a car is not necessary and there is a regular bus to Lagos, Luz and local beaches, if you decide to hire a car you can explore the the Parque Natural da Costa Vicentina which stretches along the coastline from Burgau to Cape St. Vincent, the most Westerly point in Europe, from where it continues up the rugged western coast to Aljezur. There are numerous stunning beaches, coves and dramatic cliffs providing an endless variety of seashore to explore, with fantastic clifftop walks and wild empty spaces inland, all rich in rare flora, fauna and birdlife.
There are sensational views of this wonderful south west corner from the Monchique Mountains inland, which have remote little villages where time stands still, cork and chestnut woods and a famous spa of the same name.
This is the quieter side of the Algarve where everything you want is available, in a relaxed friendly atmosphere - the perfect escape from stresses and strains and dull rainy days!
Lagos / Burgau area
Ideal for a family holiday - whether you choose to swim in the villa's private pool and relax on the south-facing patio or stroll down the sloped cobbled street to the gorgeous, safe, sandy beach to have a swim and quench your thirst with a beer at the popular Beach Bar !
The attractive and historic regional capital, Lagos, 6 miles east of Burgau, has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with a paved shopping area and lots of cafes, restaurants and nightlife. A pedestrian bridge connects the lovely palm-fringed esplanade with a large yacht marina from where dolphin and sightseeing boat trips can be hired. Meia Praia, the longest beach in the Algarve, stretches 3 miles eastwards from Lagos to Penares Golf Links, and west of the town's large 17th Century fort are several picture postcard, much photographed sandy coves with rocky outcrops. Lagos Zoo is a just north of the town, and a short drive east of Lagos are waterparks and Zoomarine themepark. Also near Lagos is Portimao for shopping and Algarve Shopping Mall at Guia.
Most sporting activities are available in the area, and the mild winters and year round sunshine make it perfect for golfers. There are more than 20 prime golf courses within an hour's drive and 2 renowned courses, Parque da Floresta and Boavista Golf are just 15 minutes away. Visitors are welcome and lessons are available on all courses, most of which require a handicap certificate and normal course etiquette.
