Casa Redonda is a large and spacious villa situated in a peaceful area above the Meia Praia Beach and only a few minuets by car to the Marina, beach and the historical town of Lagos. This villa has been tastefully furnished and well maintained throughout with matured gardens and spectacular views across the valley towards the Monchique Mountains. The villa will comfortably accommodate eight people in its four bedrooms (two double and two twin) each room with its own en suite bathroom and French windows leading on to the terrace or garden. There is a large circular lounge - hence the name Casa Redonda, which overlooks the pool on one side and the rolling countryside towards Monchique on the other, there is also a separate dining room which seats 8. The fully fitted kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher and all the usual cooking utensils. Outdoors relax on a sun bed around the pool terrace, or swim in the superb 12x6 metre pool. There is a large covered barbecue with sink and fridge and enough chairs and tables for all of your party to eat together in its cool shade during the day, or maybe under the stars on a balmy summer evening. The villa is situated on the hill above the Meia Praia, the Marina which is only under a 5 minute drive away offers a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, a short walk over the footbridge from the Marina and you are in the centre of historic town of Lagos with its cobbled sidewalks and colourful market square, offering a larger variety of restaurants, bars, café, shopping and markets. The golden sandy beach of Meia Praia is also under a 5 drive, with a variety of water sport activities available. Palmares Golf course, Boa Vista and Penina Golf Course are a 5 to 20 minute drive away. For the children there are a variety of water parks and theme parks within a 30-minute drive

Lagos / Meia Praia area
This beautiful market town is set within one of the largest bays on the Algarve. Lagos is one of the Algarve’s oldest and most interesting towns and within the historic walls there’s an abundance of cafes and restaurants along its cobbled streets. Lagos was primarily a fishing port that has become a popular tourist location. The Marina de Lagos offers a touch of elegance with it restaurants, shops, bars and cafes and is also an important yachting centre. Lagos combines both a local and tourist feel better than any other resort on the Algarve, there’s always a good local presence when you visit this typical Portuguese town. Along the coast there are numerous Water Parks and Theme parks. Slide and Splash, the nearest water theme park is a fun day out. Just past Portimão, this is an ideal for either a sunny or cloudy day. We suggest that you take a picnic lunch with you, as eating and drinking there can be quite expensive, and remember to take lots of sunscreen. The Zoomarine is also a fun day out for the young and not so young, with dolphins and sea lion shows, sharks, parrots and other animals. Also there is a large swimming pool and funfair rides and a 4D cinema.
