Luxury fully furnished two bedroom first floor apartment with large balcony , serviced by stairs and a lift. in the newly built exclusive Marina Park complex. The complex has spacious landscaped gardens with waterfall and a large swimming pool, toddler pool, 2 tennis courts, children’s play area and a poolside bar and restaurant. The apartment benefits from air conditioning and has two bathrooms (one en-suite), fully equipped kitchen, dining area and sofa bed. Within the apartment there is also WiFi, cable TV, DVD player, stereo, travel cot and baby high chair. The apartment has its own secure parking area in the basement.
Marina Park is a new apartment complex located near the magnificent marina in Lagos. The complex has 24 hour security. Lagos with its historic centre, shops, restaurants and marina are a 10 minute walk away. The beach is a 15 minute walk. For the golf enthusiasts there are 5 courses local to Lagos, these are Palmares, Boavista, Penina, Parque da Floresta and Alto, with Palmares only 5 min drive away. The Lagos / Marina Park area
Lagos is a unique little jewel in the Algarve. It has chosen to develop its tourism with taste and class. In and around Lagos are 5 championship golf courses; facilities for
sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, scuba diving, deepsea fishing, boat trips tennis,squash, horse riding and for the really adventurous- microlight flying!
Sun bathing, beach and swimming on the town beach or the spectacular Meia Praia only 15 mins walk away. This is a lovely beach 4km long and it has several beach bars where you can simply have a drink or enjoy the local food.

Fly to Faro - Cheap flights to Faro are available from Ryanair, Aer Lingus, Easy Jet, Jet 2, Thomson Fly etc. (Booking early can secure some really good deals).
On arrival you can travel to the apartment by car, taxi, rail or bus.
Car - All major car rental companies are represented at Faro Airport. Advance booking is advisable, speeding up transfer times and ensuring a car is available at busy periods. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Mainly on the motorway, directions can be e-mailed to you.
Taxi - Taxis cost between 75 and 90 euros each way. Check price with driver beforehand.
Train - The train from Faro to Lagos takes about 2 hours, price about 5 euros. You will need a taxi from the airport to Faro rail station, then a 10 minute walk from Lagos station to the apartment (uphill).

It was spotless, very comfortable, well equiped and beautifully located. the grounds and swimming pool area are gorgeous. It is just a short walk to the marina, shops and town of lagos, full of great restaurants, shops and bars. The beach is also just a short walk away and is everything a beach should be. Mandys bar/restaurant is on the beach and serves great food. I am definitely going back and will be looking to stay in the Marina Apartments again. |
