About the home

Villa Nore is a deluxe brand new 4 bedroom villa, fully air-conditioned with a heated pool. This villa is situated in the popular area of Porto do Mos on a new resort.

From the entrance you enter into a hall way which leads into the living area, there is a lounge with seating for all the family, satellite TV, DVD player, there are patio doors from the lounge area out to the pool and gardens, this area is open plan and leads onto the dining room which has seating for up to 8 people and from here you have the open plan kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and all the usual modern utensils.

There is a downstairs shower room off from the entrance hall also. Upstairs there are 3 large bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, the master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom, the second and third bedroom upstairs both have twin beds, all the bedrooms on this level have balconies some with a glimpse of the sea. The 4th bedroom is an additional room on the ground floor with use of the downstairs shower room; this bedroom has been added to the villa and has no outside access with windows or patio doors.

All the upstairs bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with a bath and oevr head shower or a shower cubicle, the downstairs bedroom has use of the shower room on this level in the hall.

Further details outdoors:
The outside of the villa has a lovely pool area with a kidney shaped heated private pool, there is patio surrounding the pool with plenty of sun loungers for all the family, and a small lawned area around the side of the villa. There is a built in BBQ and outside dining furniture.

Conditions

This villa is available for a minimum of 4 nights and for longer monthly visits during the outer seasonal months, betweek April and October this isnot applicable unless agreed in advance.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

The Algarve boasts miles of golden sandy beaches with the sun shining for around 3000 hours of the year. Lagos is situated in the western Algarve and used to be the capital of the Algarve, now it's famous for its historic town wall, fort and abundance of character.

The cobbled streets of Lagos are now mainly pedestrian in the main centre making the town perfect in the summer for strolling and watching the street entertainment and browsing the street stalls on a balmy summers night (or day). There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from to suite every culinary taste and budget.

The Lagos / Porto de Mos area

There are 2 beach bars at the bottom of the road from the villa that are open until early evening. The Marina and town of Lagos which are only about a 5 minute drive away offer a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, a short walk over the footbridge from the Marina and your are in the centre of the historic town of Lagos. The golden sandy beach of Meia Praia is only a 2 minute drive or can be walked to in around 5-10 minutes.

Palmares Golf is a few minutes walk away from the villa and can be viewed from the roof terrace, Boa Vista and Penina Golf Courses are a 5 to 20 minute drive away.

For the children there are a variety of water parks and theme parks within a 30 minute drive.

To fly to the Algarve you must go to Faro airport which is about 80 kilometers from Casa do Teixo. You can also fly to Lisbon or Seville (Spain) but both these aiports are about a 3 hours drive from the Villa.
Airlines from the UK that fly to Faro are Easyjet, Jet 2, Monarch, Air 2000, British airways, Ryanair, Flybe, Bmi and TAP.

“Great accommodation” Nice large house, modern and spacious with a good pool and outdoor area. Air conditioned downstairs and in bedrooms. [Downstairs bedroom has no aircon but can be kept cool by living room units] Sky TV (basic channels), DVD, dishwasher and washing MC Less than 10 mins walk to beach which has two good restaurants (we thought Campimar was best, always book early if you want a table at either). Nice wide beach with plenty of room to spread out. Slight negatives..... Long walk to the shops (25 mins) and town (35 mins) - but taxi only ~5E Only one double bed (other rooms have twin beds)
