Offering three bedroms (one double, two twins - with one twin being able to made into a double to provide maximum flexibilty for guests) and two bathrooms (one ensuite), Villa Cerros dos Mos is one of the closest villas to town but still in a quiet residential neighborhood. Offering a high degree of privacy due to both being unattached and having an elevated position, the views from the terraces and pool area are breathtaking.
The villa is extremely well equipped to be a real home from home for holiday makers, with a larger than average sized pool (10 m x 4 m) and there is UK Freeview television and airconditioning in the main bedroom
With Lagos being such an old town, and surrounded by a historic town wall, there are no villas with pools in the centre of town and very few that are of this size and proximity to the town centre and marina (five minutes' walk max) so ideal for guests either not wanting to hire a car or walk into town in the evenings for shopping/eating or generally taking in the atmosphere of the pretty cobbled streets, alfresco dining, relaxed bars and street entertainment
Alternatively, the pool and other terraces provide excellent opportunity for bbqing and watching the sun go down over the town.

The villa is very well maintained and equipped throughout to provide a super base for either a beach, town, active, or relaxing holiday.
The property is accessed at ground level via entrance hall and into large living area where is a large lounge (again with access terraces and vila's lsplendid views) with satellite TV (UK Freeview) together with DVD/CD player and log fire for the cooler months.
Leading off of this is a large kitchen/diner equipped for 'proper' cooking / entertaining if required with seating for 8.
All bedrooms are accessed via the stairs to the lower (pool) level. One of the two twin bedrooms can be made up as a double on request - please specify on booking form if this is required - and all bedrooms/living areas lead out to either the terraces or pool area providing ample room for families to have their own 'space'
There is airconditioning in the master bedroom (none in the rest of the house) but the villa is designed to make the most of the cooling breezes that come up in the afternoon in this part of the Algarve so the house is never hot even during the hottest times of the year

With all living / sleeping areas leading out to either the bbq terrace (seating 10) or pool area and terrace, there is lots of choice to either make the most of the Algarve sun or relax in the shade. All terraces make the most of the spectacular views over the town and marina and out to sea and there are steps directly from the villa that take you directly into the town
Payment can be in sterling or euros (rate applied will be that on day of booking) and paid by direct bank transfer or credit card via Paypal for either currency (3.5% surcharge added to credit card payments which is what Paypal charge) or cheque for sterling payments only. All prices (excluding winter rates) inclusive of electricity, airconditioning, linens etc. Winter rates are exclusive of electricity which is charged at cost. Deposit of 25% within seven days of booking with balance and returnable damage deposit of £250 (or euro equivalent) payable eight weeks before arrival.
The Algarve region
The Western Algarve is a sun lover's delight - 300 days of sunshine per year, and during the hottest months, a light breeze to stop it getting too hot. There are lots of towns and villages around which offer hundreds of restaurants, night life etc but with the capacity still to find the 'real Portugal' both along the coast and a couple of minutes' inland
Lagos itself offers culture, history (it is an old walled town and a delight to walk around), nightlife and a whole host of beaches and water sports in its area. The bustling but traditional resort town of Luz is just five minutes away and Boavista championship golf course with its health club/spa, tennis etc is nearby. Water sports abound all along the coast, there is good walking country nearby and lots of activities for children (and their parents!). As such, Lagos is the ideal location for those wanting a quiet relaxing holiday or an activity based holiday - or a bit of both!
