With Faro airport under an hour away it takes just five minutes from the A22 motorway exit at Mexilhoeira Grande to go from the hustle and bustle of modern living to the un-commercialised, calm and serenity of fozdaria is totally private, and can boast outstanding view overlooking the Ria de Alvor estuary.
Fozdaria is situated 3 kilometres outside the town of Lagos which is in one of the largest bays on the Algarve. An attractive, bustling town it was conquered in the 8th century by the Moors who left behind fortifications, some of which can still be seen today. During the 15th century the pioneer Henry the Navigator turned Lagos into an important naval centre and in fact the city was the capital of the Algarve from 1576 – 1756.

We had a great holiday in the apartment ,what a fantastic place, we expected it to be good and were not disappointed----- Jon fanner and family
just a quick note about our weeks stay at your apartment, we had a lovely time your accommodation was excellent. The only damages was one glass which due to Macdonnalds giving coke glasses away we replaced with 6 glasses. We'll be in touch later in the year to book again for 2010.
