About the home

Quinta das abrotea is located 5 minutes from the heart of Lagos and 10 minutes from batata beach and fortress.quiet and peaceful but only 10 minutes from the marina and its vast array of restaurants,cafes and bars.The apartment has one bedroom with 2 twin beds and fully fitted wardrobes.The family bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom and has a full bath and shower.The living room has a dining area furnished with a table and seating for 4 people,the living room consists of 2 sofas one converting to a double sofa bed and leads onto the private balcony.
There is a flat screen tv with satellite and the apartment is fully air condtioned for your comfort in any season.
The private balcony is large enough to accomodate a table with seating for 4 people to enjoy some al fresco dining.Within the complex is a large pool area with landscaped tropical gardens and shower facilities.
The location of the apartment is ideal for the relaxing family holiday.

We require a 30% deposit on booking payable by credit/debit card or bank transfer and the balance is due 8 weeks before arrival.
On entry there is a refundable breakage/loss deposit payable of £200 returned after a satisfactory property inspection within 2 weeks departure.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

The Algarve boasts over 300 kms of golden sandy beaches and are free to use and open all year around.

The larger beaches have lifeguard patrols all summer long with most having restaurants cafes and bars on. They serve excellent fresh food and cold drinks all year.

The west of Algarve has strong links to the Romans and moors stretching back to 2000 BC, this can be seen in the buildings in most towns.

The weather is another reason to visit the Algarve as you get 300 days a year sunshine temperatures from 15c to a peak in July/August and early September

The Lagos / Central Lagos area

Lagos is one of the oldest and historical cities in the Algarve dating back to 2000bc,being a walled city and having a natural harbour made it very important with its location and for fishing.
The marina has about 500 boats moored within the harbour and is surrounded by cafes,restaurants and bars of all international flavours.

The city has a vast array of cobbled streets with street cafes ,bars and excellent restaurants to eat in. The main square has typical quaint houses and street entertainers with plenty of hand carved gifts to take home. The natural harbour is home to over 500 yachts and the fishing boats of Lagos, within 5 minutes of this harbour is 3 kms of golden sand coloured beaches. The beaches have water sports, parasols and sun loungers for hire.

Within a short drive you can visit the many water parks and the famous zoo marine with its interactive dolphins and for an extra charge you can swim with the dolphins. The beach at Porto de Mos is only a 15 minute walk from the apartment and is a golden sand colour, there are 2 restaurants on the beach serving excellent food daily all year around.

There is also a golf course within a 5 minute drive offering our guests discounted rounds all year long,also within 15 minutes there are 2 championship level golf courses giving our guests discounted golf all year around
The closest golf course is the 5* boavista golf and spa hotel located on the outskirts of lagos and nestled in an old olive tree plantation ,with stunning greens and views of the sea.
During your stay there is plenty to do and see for all ages.

All major airlines fly to faro airport on the algrave portugal,British airways,Monarch,Airtours,Thomsons,Thomas cook,Easy jet,Jet2,TAP,Iberia plus others.
There is a train from faro centre to lagos and runs every three hours or you can hire a car try www.myalgarvecars.com or we can arrange a direct airport transfer door to door.
We can also supply road directions before arrival if requested.

“Great place to stay great apartment” I and my husband stayed in this beautiful apartment in march this year and loved it very much. The apartment was like new very clean great furniture and a great location. It took us 10 minutes walking in to lagos the first 2nights it took 25 minutes but thats the fun of going somewhere new.We found the more direct route and then it only took 10 minutes. Lagos was a great place to visit and this was our first time to Portugal we will come again. When we first booked we spoke to simon who advised us on their transport which was good as we were the only people on the mini bus both ways so no waiting around. We weremet at the apartment by Karen who explained about the area gave us a free map and advised us on where to go for a nice meal and cheap drinks. After using villasfullstop we will use them again and defo come back to lagos hopefully this apartment.
