Beautiful new apartment located within a few minutes comfortable walking distance of the historic old town of Lagos, easy access to all amenities, including the many excellent restaurants for eating out. The apartment is within 10-15 minutes walk to the beach and the stunning marina.
A shared swimming pool, suitable for all ages, and gardens are available within a secure complex. An award winning city park, ideal for children and relaxation, is just across the road from the front of the apartment with the backdrop of the old city walls.
Delightful views from the large front balcony overlooking the old city walls and old town of Lagos towards the beach, Atlantic Ocean and the Monchique mountains in the background. The spacious front balcony enjoys the evening sun and is ideal for al fresco dining whilst the morning sun can be enjoyed on the rear balcony, off the bedrooms.
Also a golfers paradise with the 18-hole Boa Vista Golf Resort little more than a 5-minute drive. The spectacular 27-hole Onyria Palmares course is a 10-minute drive and within 15-20 minutes are a number of other high quality courses including Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort with the Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course.

Wheelie bins located 50 yards to the left of the entrance door to block 4. We respectfully request you put your rubbish out daily and leave the apartment in the same condition you find it on arrival.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: The property is maintained by our management company to a high standard. Upon arrival the property will be cleaned and fresh linen/towels will have been provided. Mid rental towel service available paid direct by guest if required. Beach towels are available in the apartment

The front balcony overlooks the swimming pools (main pool and children's) which are within a secure gated area and accessed by swipe cards (4 No) which are available within the apartment
Patio furniture on balconies, large front balcony - which gets the evening sun - with spectacular views of the beach, Atlantic Ocean, the historical old town of Lagos. The rear balcony, off the bedrooms, get the sun in the morning.
1. Please note we do not rent out when the entire group is under 25 years of age!
2. The owner of this property accepts payment in the original currency specified (Euro), before use of conversion tool. The conversion tool is provided for your convenience only. The owner may accept other currencies agreed in advance.
4. A 20% non-returnable deposit is required to secure booking and the Full payment is required six weeks prior to arrival. A €200 refundable security deposit will be added to the final payment and will be returned once keys have been returned and a satisfactory report received from Management Company at the end of the stay.
5. During the months November until March, electricity will be charged extra at cost price. Water, gas and end cleaning is inclusive in rates throughout except bookings shorter than a week (7 days) will incur a 35 euros charge for cleaning costs.
6.Changeover day is normally Saturday subject to availability - we will endeavour to be flexible but this may not be possible during high season. Also during peak letting season we will not rent for a period of less than 1 week
7. Check-in is after 15.00 and checking-out time before 10.00. If you want to check-in earlier or check out later please let us know and we will endeavour to be flexible where possible. This is to facilitate the cleaning of the apartment for the next client.
The Algarve region
The Algarve is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday with a unique culture, stunning landscape, charming people and fabulous local cuisine. There are over 100 miles of sandy beaches and 3,000 hours of sunshine a year.
The Western Algarve is less developed than some other areas and near the apartment are some fantastic sandy beaches and areas to walk or cycle. The historic town of Lagos has retained it's charm, and the ambience of the old town along with its its beautiful harbour, marina, castle, churches and excellent shopping facilities reflect why it is frequently referred to as the "jewel in the crown" of the Algarve. There are also plenty of things to do - sightseeing, swimming, wind surfing, horse riding, golf, tennis, fishing, water parks, go karting, football, and even dolphin watching!
The climate in the Algarve is very favourable with temperatures frequently well into the 30's (degrees) in the main summer months with cooler temperatures throughout the rest of the year. Being near the coast, there is often a pleasant breeze to keep you cool but you can usually be guaranteed plenty of sunshine lying by the pool or on the beach.
The Algarve is famous for its golf courses and there are over 30 courses in the region to choose from.
Leading travel website Trip Advisor has named Lagos in the western Algarve as one of 15 rising destinations in the world based on feedback from customers. It also received a 2011 Traveller’s Choice award for its stunning beaches - Meia Preia beach was quoted as “a beach for all seasons” and the number one attraction to the town.
Lagos marina holds a blue five star award, the highest accolade from the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) for a high standard of water quality and attention to the environment.
Lagos was rated highly as a destination for a variety of qualities, including its history, choice of beaches, nightlife, dining and reliable transport system. It is steeped in history and the old town with its quaint narrow cobbled streets, city walls and outdoor restaurants create a lovely ambience. Some of the best sandy beaches in the Algarve are nearby and offers a perfect location for all types of water-sports.
There are plenty of things for the children to do - visit Lagos Zoo, the Zoomarine aquarium, nearby water parks and the Sven-Goran Eriksson Football Academy at Lagos’ new 5-star Cascade Development.
For golf enthusiasts the Boa Vista Golf resort is little more than a 5-minute drive from the apartment, whereas the spectacular Onyria Palmares course, which now has 27-holes, is a 10-minute drive. Towards the end of 2011, leading golf magazine, Golf World, published its ‘top 100 in Europe’ list - and Onyria Palmares is ranked 26 in Continental Europe. Onyria Palmares was the third highest new entrant to the list and was ranked third best golf course in the whole of Portugal.
There are numerous other high-quality golf courses within a 30-minute drive, including Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort with the Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course which is about 15-minutes away.
There are many other activities available locally including tennis, walking, swimming, bicycle hire, boat trips, windsurfing, kite surfing and jet skiing. The new Algarve International motor racing circuit is 15 mins away. There are several beach bars on nearby Meia Praia beach, restaurants and bars at Lagos Marina and weekly markets in Loule & Portimao.
If you like diving, there is an excellent place to learn to dive with a PADI certificate diving school. Lagos is on the edge of the Costa Vicentina nature reserve and there are some excellent horse riding stables nearby.
Lagos has its own cinema with the latest films shown in English or why not visit the Governor's Castle and Fortress. At night the shops are open late with street entertainers, market stalls and outdoor restaurants.

"Home from home luxury"
This was our third stay at this prime location apartment, on this occasion there were 5 females on a girly holiday and we all hope to be back again. The apartment is spacious and combines luxury and homeliness effortlessly, making for a very comfortable stay. The pool area is quiet, clean and well kept, getting the sun all day. Close by are lovely coffee shops, where lunch (including wine) can be purchased for a few euro. The apartment is located a 5 minute walk from the Praia de Ana, thee most picturesque beach on the Algarve, there is a lovely little beach bar, again very cheap. From here you can take the beautiful cliff walk back to the town, with stunning views of the coast line. Given that the area the apartment is situated in is so quiet, the main tourist area in Lagos town is only a few minutes walk away, the town has something for everyone, café's to sit and people watch, bars for dancing and drinking cocktails, and the restaurants cater for every taste and are well priced. For those who wish to be more active there is kayaking, cycle hire and lots of beautiful walking routes, as well as many different types of boat tours (we hope to go back to one of the many surf schools). Lagos is a hidden jewel in the Algarve, and this apartment is a hidden jewel in Lagos, our week long holiday felt like a month, which is a sign of a good holiday.

"luxury lagos apartment"
the apartment in lagos was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed to hand ,the pool to the side of the apartment was quiet and secluded. a five minute stroll brings you to the centre with a good selection of restraunts /bars and shops with the marina another short stroll away I would not hesitate to recommend the apartment to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday

"Fabulous Spot High Standard of Hospitality and fine Cuisine"
We spend a fantastic week in beautifull Lagos definitely a must-see place
The Apartment is situated in a perfect location in walking distance to beautifull beaches Restaurant's e.t.c. the apartment was extremely comfortable with modern facilities and everything you need was available,beautifully furnished nice and cool from the hot sun with a sunny light airy living area and kitchen leading onto patio area with great view's.The private swimming pool was indeed fantastic and secure for young children, the location is great, because it very calm and peacefull but a very close distance from the town which is always buzzing. We will be back!

"great place, would go back"
stayed here for 2 weeks with husband and 2 teenagers aged 15 and 17 years, the apartment was well furnished with modern furniture was very spacious with 2 large balconies, one getting the morning sun and one getting evening sun, great for alfresco dining or drinks before going out. There was a private swimming pool which was well maintained with toilets and showers. The apartment was 5 mins walk from the old town full of great restaurants and bars. Car is not needed as 2 supermarkets in walking distance, but car great if you want to explore the beautiful unspoilt countryside. 2 teenagers had a great time and mixed with all ages in the pool. We had a great holiday and would consider returning.

"We'll be back!"
We went out of high season - in October - but there was still a nice buzz about the town. All restaurants still open and weather perfect ( we even had a swim in ther sea!). Spent 5 days there. Opted not to hire car and enjoy immediate surroundings (beaches, shops and restaurants all possible on foot). Transfer from airport easy - on advice of owners. It's also good to have the option of eating at apartment- enjoying the view and a glass of Portuguese white wine ( recommend it). Pool wasn't complete when we were there - we knew about this before booking. That would be a plus now as I see it is complete - incentive to return and explore more of the region! Car is probably better for longer stays to explore beyond Lagos.

"Total relaxation and satisfaction for all of us."
This was our 2nd family holiday in this beautiful modern apartment. The first visit was in July 2010. The 2nd visit was greatly enhanced by having the pool available in that we met neighbouring apartment users where we exchanged local information regarding best value/quality restuarants, beaches and bars. The apartment is in an ideal location - within walking distance of all amenities. After a day lazing on the beach or by the pool the "old town of Lagos" provides everything you would wish for in terms of great food and street entertainment. We are really looking forward to a 3rd family holiday in this wonderful location and well maintained apartment.
