This villa is true luxury - furnished and equipped to be a real home from home with everything you need for a relaxing or activity based holiday, or a holiday combining both. The villa itself is detached, very private and has the most stunning views from all rooms, with various terraces (including a private master bedroom terrace equipped with sunbeds to make the most of the spectacular views). Plasma TVs in all bedrooms (Sky TV throughout) and lounge, crisp linens, fully equipped kitchen, quality Weber BBQ and large swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and outdoor dining furniture to make the most of the sun and alfresco dining. Free wifi in the villa and free membership of the health club/spa included. Configuration of bedrooms is as follows:

Bedroom suite 1: Downstairs, twin beds, plasma TV en suite bathroom. This bedroom is suitable for the less able as the villa is all on one level on the ground floor and this bedroom has a door leading directly out to the pool / gardens

Other: All windows have fly screens and electric security shutters. The villa is fully airconditioned throughout.
Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: Property is cleaned mid week and all linens and towels supplied (not beach towels). Daily made service is available upon request for an extra small charge.

Beautifully tended lawned and landscaped gardens front and rear - perfect for sun worshipping, alfresco dining or just enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sun set. Three of the bedrooms have patio doors out to terraces (bedroom four suite has door out to pool area) and the master suite has a stunning terrace with views over the golf course/countryside and to the Atlantic. There are plenty of sun beds and garden furniture for relaxing/dining and the children's play area, restaurants / bar, resort club house, spa/gym/health club (free membership for guests), golf course (25% discount off of normal golf fees) extensive practice areas (rivalling those on Tour) soccer and tennis are within a minute's walk. .

The Algarve / West Algarve region
Lagos, which is 2km away, is the cultural and entertainment city in the area. With its cobbled streets, brand new marina, wonderful beaches and restaurants too many to count, it is a great destination for days and evenings out. Luz with its holiday atmosphere and splendid beaches and palm lined esplanade is 2km in the other direction so the villa is very conveniently located to benefit from both towns, and of course all the other traditional villages and places of interest on the Algarve
The Lagos / Boavista area
The area of Lagos offers a wide variety of things to do and see. Marvellous beaches (uncrowded even in the height of summer), water sports, horse riding, go karting, motor racing, walking cycling, fishing, sailing - all are within 10 minutes of Boavista and, of course, golf, tennis, football (academy in high season for children) are all on the doorstep of the Fairways Villa.
Within 15 minutes is the new F1 Autodromo which has a full programme of car and motorbike racing and just 20 minutes away are the famous surfing beaches of the West Coast (one of the most stunning coastlines in Europe). Go just five minutes inland, and you're well away from the tourists and have the opportunity to see the Portugal as the Portuguese do, with stunning countryside, great walking, cycling and restaurants to die for (and at prices that are so low they appear unbelievable - 7.50 euros for a three course lunch with wine/beer is an expensive lunchtime out!!!!)

We had the most BRILLIANT holiday. We were a little concerned about (a) coming to a resort and (b) coming to one with a golf course (we are ardent anti golfers!). Glad we did! Boavista is not a resort in the usual meaning of the word - it has the feel more of a country club with the gardens, public areas etc being beautifully tended and green (the range of tropical plants and trees is just amazing!) and spacious with the villas absolutely stunning - private, well built and this villa was one of the few we have ever stayed in which really lives up to the description of 'luxury'. Indeed the golf course actually made the resort for us because it makes the whole resort/country club a lot more spacious and of course provides the beautiful views (we had many G and Ts enjoying them!) The children loved the tennis, football academy and health club (we couldn't get them out of the jacuzzi!) and met up with others so we had some peace and they had a great holiday. The restaurants restaurants are truly superb and the 10% discount in the main restaurant and bar came in very handy - as did the takeaway service (full menu, same price + 1 euro delivery charge only difference being delivered to your door - nice touch!). With this, bbqing in the villa and being just five minutes from Lagos, we couldn't have asked for any more in a holiday.
