Home descriptionOur bright and spacious apartment is located in the charming town of Lagos, nestled in the resort complex at Vilabranca, located between Praia Dona Ana and Praia Porto de Mõs. Enjoy a casual 10 minute walk to the beaches and a 20 minute walk to the old historic town. The apartment is situated in the middle floor of a three story elegant building, surrounded by lush exotic gardens and overlooking a large swimming pool. The grounds of the resort are beautifully manicured by the owners of the resort who take personal pride in their very own award winning vacation resort. Ideal setting for a family to enjoy both the adult and kids pool within a large sun terrace. Enjoy breakfast on the balcony as you take in the days activities underway or sip on some fine Alentejo wine as you ponder thoughts of your dinner options.

On hot summer days in July and August, the Atlantic offers a refreshing cool down. On most days of the year, the windward Western Algarve provides a nice breeze. Evenings are usually cooler and comfortable with a sweater or light jacket. Winter evenings are a littler cooler, so bring a fleece and windbreaker or leather jacket. Lagos / Dona Ana areaFrom our apartment enjoy a short walk to the old historic and picturesque seaside town, as well as the sandy beaches and cliffs surrounding Ponte de Piedade. You really must devote a day to roaming around the old town. There is an abundance of historical sites and intricate architecture. The endless pedestrian streets with outdoor restaurants and coffee shops and of course the boutique shops are sure to round out your day. The number and variety of day-trips available to suit your taste are truly endless. Our favourite excursions will give you a sampling of the sights across the regions of the Algarve. From your Lagos home-base, each of these short expeditions can be comfortably completed within a day, and will heighten your love for the Algarve and for Portugal. Recommended day excursions: Sagres/Cape St. Vincente, Aljezur Coast, Monchique, Silves, Albufeira, Guadiana River, Spanish Border/Tavira.
