Our exclusive apartment at Vila Praia Dona Ana is located in the beautiful town of Lagos, within a 5 minute walk from the famous Praia Dona Ana beach and a 10 minute walk to the old historic town. This three storey elegant complex catches your attention with beautifully manicured gardens, and a swimming pool all nestled within a walled sun terrace, elevated from the roadside. Ideal setting for a family to enjoy both the adult and kids pool in a secure environment. Recently-built apartment has air-conditioning/heating, modern furnishings and appliances. Rooms are spacious, bright and have large windows with electronic blinds. Our apartment is luxuriously decorated, providing a warm vacation ambiance. From the front balcony you can relax on our elegant sage green garden furniture and enjoy a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean in the distance, with its wonderful blend of turquoise colours. Sip on a glass of fine port or enjoy a tasty meal as you count the variety of boats floating by.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

The weather in the Algarve is warm year-round, enjoying approximately 300 days of sunshine, with fairly steady temperatures. On hot summer days in July and August, the Atlantic offers a refreshing cool down. On most days of the year, the windward Western Algarve provides a nice breeze. Evenings are usually cooler and comfortable with a sweater or light jacket. Winter evenings are a littler cooler, so bring a fleece and windbreaker or leather jacket.

The Algarve is rich in history as it was the launchpad for all of the famous Portuguese explorers back in the 15th Century. The historic forts and castles blend nicely with the beaches and warm weather to allow you to do as much or as little as you wish during your holidays.

Lagos / Dona Ana area

From our apartment enjoy a short walk to the old historic and picturesque seaside town, as well as the sandy beaches and cliffs surrounding Ponte de Piedade. You really must devote a day to roaming around the old town. There is an abundance of historical sites and intricate architecture. The endless pedestrian streets with outdoor restaurants and coffee shops and of course the boutique shops are sure to round out your day. The number and variety of day-trips available to suit your taste are truly endless. Our favourite excursions will give you a sampling of the sights across the regions of the Algarve. From your Lagos home-base, each of these short expeditions can be comfortably completed within a day, and will heighten your love for the Algarve and for Portugal. Recommended day excursions: Sagres/Cape St. Vincente, Aljezur Coast, Monchique, Silves, Albufeira, Guadiana River, Spanish Border/Tavira. Several of the Algarve’s 21+ golf courses are within 5-35 minutes away by car.

Refundable Security Deposit: £100.

Utility Charges (Apr-Oct): Weekly rates include the equivalent of £10 of electricity and £8 of gas.

Utility Charges (Nov-Mar)): Winter Rates exclude Utilities, charged at cost based on usage (i.e. Electricity and Gas).

Supplemental Charges: Please be careful with your air-conditioner/heater usage to avoid or minimize extra charges. Electricity is pricey in Portugal. Meter reading taken before and after your stay will determine any excess charges.

Payments: Deposit Required; full balance payable 2 months prior to reservation start.

We had a really great time in Lagos and your apartment was pretty well perfect - location was ideal, near enough to most of the facilities and the town centre. All of the family were most impressed with the standard of accommodation - you have certainly created a very comfortable environment and we felt very much at home straight away. I have to say that I was most impressed with your attention to detail - it is truly outstanding and certainly enhanced our enjoyment.

Thanks for the opportunity to use your Lagos apartment for our family holiday in Portugal. Apartment has very comfortable furnished and spacious rooms and is suitable for any kind of family holiday needs. Apartment is also fully equipped with kitchen e.g. washing machine and dishwasher, which makes the daily family life easy and gives time to enjoy holiday.
