There is a weekly maid service. Vilabranca is set in eleven acres of green open spaces and is ideally situated for those wanting to explore the delights of the Western Algarve.
There are many bars and excellent restaurants just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment and a superb supermarket just outside the grounds of the complex.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The Algarve is well known for its many world class golf courses. Close to Lagos are the renowned Boa Vista, Parque de Floresta and Palmeres courses, perfect for any golf enthusiast who likes a challenge. Moving west from Lagos, the coastline provides a wealth of interesting villages and quiet beaches. Along the west coast of the Algarve are some incredible beaches well worth visiting especially for those who love surfing and scuba diving and where only a handful of sunbathers will be found even in the busy summer months.
Lagos is without a doubt the most attractive town in the western Algarve. It is a lively and popular resort renowned for its beautiful cove beaches that lie beneath cliff edges and only a 45 minute drive from Faro airport along the new motorway.
The Lagos / Dona Ana area
Lagos itself is an ideal holiday location and a great place for all kinds of water sports and nautical activities. There are a number of fantastic beaches of all sizes in and around the town including Dona Ana renowned for its incredible rock formations.
Lagos is a historic town with many narrow cobbled streets filled with restaurants, cafes, bars and many interesting shops to choose from. In the town there are many architectural signs of its ancient past even a building that was used as a slave market. The original walls of the town are also still in tact in many places and statues dominate the central squares that tell a tale of the towns colourful past. Lagos also has a beautiful marina overflowing with boats and yachts passing through, to and from the Mediterranean. At night the town comes alive with street entertainers, open-air stalls and artists with the bars, jazz clubs and nightclubs staying open till late. The combination of the fascination and history of Lagos coupled with its cosmopolitan chic, having responded to the demands of modern tourism, gives Lagos it’s unique character and magnetism.

Faro is the nearest airport and is approximately 45 minutes drive to the apartment straight along the new motorway. When you book we will send you excellent directions if you choose to hire a car. If you choose taxi the approximate cost is 80 euros which we can arrange for you. There is also a direct train service from Faro to Lagos. The station is approximaetly 1km from the apartment.

The apartment is superb, the best we have stayed in, very roomy roomy with everything you need, The beds are superb and the information provided by Shelley before you go makes it easy to settle in and find your way around.
The staff are fantastic, make you feel very welcome and are so friendly and helpful, (As is Barbara who cleans the apartment, and meets you when you arrive!)
It was that good we booked for 2013 as soon as we got home!
There are hundreds of books, a tv, hifi and the best balcony on the complex overlooking the pool with loads of room. We spent a couple of hours every afternoon sat on there relaxing (with a beer) watching the pool and what was going on. Ideal for couples or families.
We have 8 year old twins, and we walked dowin into Lagos and back at least once every day, and thw kids didn't moan once, so don't worry about the distance. There is a free shuttle bus provided if you do want a lift though.
Lagos is a fantastic town, so much nicer than Albafura, with a really nice atmosphere. It's quite large, but very nice to walk around and dozens of good restauarnts and bars, we didn't have a bad meal in two weeks.
Tryting to think of a down side....my wife likes to have some music playing in the background when by the pool, but there isn't any at Vilabranca. This isn't down to Shelley though, so you can't blame her for that!

This apartment is the best in the Vilabranca resort. It appears to be the only one with a full length balcony across both the lounge, dining and kitchen rooms and makes for a good sized outdoor eating and sitting area.The property decor is immaculate and it is furnished and equipped to the highest standards.
The pool area is outstanding and has this year been refurbished with new expensive loungers and parasols, not the cheap breakable plastic sort. We called this the ''Blue Pool'' because of the blue umbrellas. The equally lovely pool across the driveway we called the ''Yellow Pool'' for the same reason.
The whole complex is quiet and appealing and only 10 minutes walk from the town. There is a free mini bus run by Vilabranca which leaves early evening for those wishing to dine at any of the numerous restaurants in Lagos. A taxi back is only 3 euros.
This apartment is merely an extension of the owners lovely home in Cheshire and we are going back for the fourth time next year. What's more there is never any deposit to pay up front and also if you are unlucky enough to break anything just replace it.
