Luxury ground floor apartment furnished to a very high standard, including full air-con and heating, Sky satellite TV, DVD and CD. Large front terrace facing south with spectacular views to the 17th hole, lake and water features. A fully equipped kitchen is fitted with Bosch appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, combination microwave, electric oven and a halogen hob.
The rear garden area is equipped with outdoor furniture including sun loungers and BBQ facilities. The new Spa has a large indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, full gymnasium and spa treatments. The large heated and children's pools are for the use of our guests and the area is accessed via a swipe card system. Resort facilities include championship golf course and driving range. Guests enjoy 25% discount on green fees and 10% on golf equipment and other selected activities, including the new clubhouse restaurant.
For non golfers the resort offers a wide range of leisure facilities including family pool, luxury health club and tennis. For the children we offer football, playground and children's pool. The beautiful beach resorts of Praia Da Luz, Praia D'Ana and Porto de Mos are in close proximity and stunning coastal walks can be enjoyed direct from the apartment.
Nearby, Lagos is an ideal spot to visit with its shops, café-bars and restaurants. Rich in culture, you can experience the ambience of the old town, with its winding cobbled streets & squares, in contrast to the modern marina. Further west is the historic town of Sagres and Cape St Vincent, with its spectacular cliffs, and the west coast with miles of unspoilt sandy beaches and dramatic Atlantic breakers.

Spacious lounge/dining room with two double patio doors leading to south facing patio overlooking the 17th. Two 2 seater sofas and 6 seating dining table with matching mirror and sideboard, SKy Satellite TV, DVD and air-conditioning/heating.
There is a large storage cupboard off the kitchen, with ironing board etc. There is also a lockable storage room, that serves the four apartments in the block, located in the downstairs entrance hall. This is ideal for golf equipment. The apartment has a large entrance hall with intercom and is fully security protected by electric roller shutters and fly screens to all windows. Garage for secure parking.

This ground floor apartment has a well equipped garden which include sun loungers, parasol, table and chairs. Just 10m from the apartment is the 30x13m shared swimming pool (heated from April - October) accessed by a swipe card system. There is also a separate children’s pool. Sunbeds and shades are provided along with changing rooms, showers and a snack bar. There is ample car parking space. 2 all-weather tennis courts can be booked at the golf reception, together with tokens for the golf driving range. The golf practice ground enjoys magnificent views eastwards across Lagos Bay to Portimao and north to the Monchique mountains. There is also a children’s football academy with regular courses. The Boavista resort has everything you could desire, a fabulous championship golf course and golf academy, clubhouse, restaurant, outdoor heated swimming pool, children's pool, tennis academy with 2 floodlit courts, five-a-side football pitch and a safe children’s play area.
Both the terrace and garden have dining facilities, table and chairs, sun beds making it an ideal place for just relaxing, sunbathing or alfresco dining.
Conditions
25% non-refundable deposit upon booking. Balance due 6 weeks prior to departure. Late bookings require payment in full on confirmation. If the final payment balance is not received by the due date the client will remain liable to pay the balance. All cancellations must be immediately notified by phone. A damage deposit of £150 will be required which will be returned within 10 days of return providing no damage has occured.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The Western Algarve is renowned for its beaches with lots of small sandy coves along the expanse of sandy coastline. The nearest beaches are within 5 minutes drive. Scuba diving and snorkelling, surfing, kite surfing, jet skiing, sailing, fishing and dolphin watching all available locally.
The Western Algarve has a dramatic coastline and many beautiful beaches catering for walkers, families and water-sports enthusiasts alike. In contrast are the quaint fishing villages, untouched by time, where the real Portuguese life can be experienced. The Monchique mountains offer a challenge for the more serious walker and stunning coastal walks to Praia da Luz or Porto de Mos can be enjoyed direct from the apartment. 5 mins away is the beach holiday resort of Luz, providing family water sport activities and delightful seafront cafes and shops.
Further to the west are the unspoilt fishing villages of Burgau and Salema. Only 25km away the coastline changes dramatically as you come upon the vast cliffs and wide beaches of the west coast. Europe's most southerly point, the spectacular Cape St Vincent, with its perpendicular cliffs and Atlantic seas is just a few miles away, and the western coast offers glorious unspoilt and dramatic scenery - not to be missed!
The Lagos / Boavista area
The property has ideal location in the Western Algarve being within 5 minutes drive of both Lagos and Luz, where you will find shops and places of historic interest. Lots of places to visit for children including Slide & Splash (largest water park on the Algarve), Zoomarine (experience the wonder of sea life) and Zoolagos (a traditional zoo).
Supermarkets are 2 mins drive. We can recommend many excellent beach bars and restaurant within a short drive - taxis to Lagos and Luz cost around 8 euros. A new marina has been developed within the harbour and this contains a wide assortment of craft.
At the harbourside there are shops and cafes to enjoy. By the port side in the town, trips can be arranged to take in the grottoes, sandstone cliffs and beautiful beaches. The nearest supermarket Intermarche, is less than 5 minutes by car. Lagos has a huge selection of shops and is a 5 minute drive. Large shopping centre with outlet stores, boutiques, restaurants etc in Guia- 'Algarve Shopping' approx 35 mins drive.

We stayed at this apartment in 2010 and again in September this year. We enjoyed having breakfast in the garden watching the early golfers teeing off on the 2nd and evening drinks on the balcony watching them coming up the 17th. The apartment is in an ideal location for exploring the western Algarve and Nuno, the owner, is only a phone call away should you need anything. |
