Monte Isola is the biggest island of the European lakes and it is situated in the centre of the Lake Iseo.
On the island it is forbidden to use cars, therefore the tourists can move using the bus that connects all the fractions, riding a bicycle, taking long and relaxing walks by the lake or excursions on the mountain looking for suggestive and panoramic places.
Description of the Apartment
The apartment, recommended to the people who desire to spend a holiday in close contact with nature and in complete relaxation, is 300 metres from the fraction of Siviano, a place called Römene.
It deals with a typical rural residence on two floors recently renovated attainable only on foot or by boat, docking to the private wharf of the property.
The apartment on the second floor – attic, can host four people and is composed by a spacious living room with a sofa-bed for two people, a double room, a bathroom and a terrace to exclusive use.
The huge garden is at guests' disposal with solarium directly on the lake and a private access to the beach.
The location of the apartment is optimal for many excursions that can be organized on the island, both on foot and by bicycles available for the guests.
Not far (it takes 10 minutes on foot) there is the village of Siviano with all the necessary services (supermarket, shops, restaurants).
The price includes: PRIVATE PARKING in Sulzano (very close to the ferry boat) and TAXIWATER service upon arrival until the private dock of the house.
Staying by the Lake Iseo means practice sports absorbed in the nature, explore tiny villages which keep jealously their traditions, discover new tastes in the typical dishes tightly linked with local products and the esteemed vineyard in Valcalepio and in Franciacorta.
For people loving sports, there is a variety of activities to be done on the lake, such as sailing, windsurfing, kayaking or rowing. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to enjoy winter sports in the nearby skiing areas or in the mountain with expert guides. There are also facilities for playing tennis, soccer, volleyball, basketball or for swimming, etc.
If you enjoy outdoors activities, you can go on excursions either by walking, horseback-riding or mountain biking in the hills or in the foothills of the Alps.
The cities of Bergamo and Brescia are within easy reach and offer a whole variety of important artistic, historical and architectural objects of interest, The large towns of Milano, Torino, Venezia, Verona, Padova, Cremona and Mantova are all fairly easy to reach for a spot of culture and museum-visits.
Last but not least, there are guides to the culinary art as well, including wine and the Italian cuisine that direct you to the renowned products of the Franciacorta region and the Valley of Calepio.
