Enjoy a lazy lunch at the local pizzeria or ristorante serving local speciailities from lake fish to home made fresh pasta. Hire a boat and take to the lake, visit a villa, explore the stylish boutiques in near by Cernobbio or just unwind on the balcony, garden, take a dip in the pool or rustle up a feast in the contemporary kitchen.

The property here in Laglio is quite unique as holiday homes so close to Como and all amenities are difficult to find especially to this high standard with air conditioning.

The apartment has been lovingly appointed. including air conditioning.The living room features a luxury sofa, dining for 6 plus widescreen tv with satellite selected uk channels. The kitchen has been stylishly designed and boasts every mod con including sishwasher and washing machine.
The apartment sleep up to six guests, two bedrooms with ample wardrobe space (double and twin)
whilst the sofa bed doubles up as third bedroom in the living room if required.
Both bathrooms have been designed to an excellent standard with quality tiles and a contemporary shower in each. WI.FI Internet access included.

The Laglio area

The apartment is based in the heart of Laglio close to the lake enjoying wonderful panoramic lake views.
The village enjoys an enviable location on the lower western shore of the lake situated just 10 minutes drive from Como City and only 45 minutes drive from Malpensa airport in Milan.
Laglio is renowned for its tranquil atmosphere, being one of the few villages here situated off the main lake road with the quieter lower lake road given you access around the lake as well as the ferry and bus service.
The apartment is surrounded by period villas some of which are frequented by local, wealthy milanese (on the weekend) and the lakes most famous resident,Geoge Clooney who owns the Villa Oleandra seen from your penthouse home and just a 5 minutes walk! The village benefits from a number of first class restaurants, bars frequented by the villagers,local stores inc mini markets (fresh bread and pasta), salumeria (fresh local meats) heralding a by gone age! The pace of life is virtually at a stand still and provides the perfect desitnation to re-charge one's batteries. Add to the mix pretty walks with breathtaking lake views and Laglio will no doubt delight and relax you with the slow, simplistic lifestyle in equal measure.The upmarket village of Cernobbio is only a short drive away with various boutiques, bars and restaurants. A shingle beach can be found in Argegno (10 mins drive), golden sand man-made beach (20 mins drive), Milan (for shopping and football) 45 mins, Golf in Como (20 mins), Switzerland (designer outlet, Lake Lugano, san Mortitz) are all easily reachable from your home as the swiss boarder is only 20 mins by car.

“A beautiful view a lovely town a great place to stay” This apartment is just as beautiful as the pictures show with no ugly surprises. We loved it! It rained most of the week but it didn't matter when you have a nice home to stay in with a beautiful view. Laglio is a great place to stay. Because it is off the tourist path, it was quiet and peaceful. We ate at three restaurants near the apartment which had outstanding food. If I had read the description fully, I would have seen that the stairs from the road to the place are hard.This is because of being steep, cobbled and not very well lit. Not for the elderly. We loved relaxing out on the balcony and enjoying the view.
