The apartment is positioned just in front of the lake side, set in its own gardens. This brand new luxury apartment is on the first floor and the interior design combines the traditional and local character. It is furnished in a contemporary style to a luxurious standard. There are two double bedrooms with king-size beds, one bathroom, a bespoke handmade kitchen finished with Italian granite surfaces. The adjoining dining and lounge areas offer stunning unhindered views both across and up the lake. For your enjoyment, there is a 32 inch flat screen TV, DVD and SKY. There is a private garage within the Residence and access to the Residence and garage is via secure automated gate. There is also a secure area for parking cycles.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area

Lake Como offers hidden treasures just waiting for the visitor to discover them: charming corners forgotten by time, lakeside villages where nothing seems to have changed for centuries. It is steeped in history with an immense collection of churches, architectural masterpieces and works of art covering the centuries. The lake is situated in a basin surrounded by wooded mountains, and offers an extremely varied landscape, with its' shores featuring a succession of pastures, and woods as well as harsh and impressive rock formations. All this alongside elegant, lakeside villas with sub-tropical gardens, which provide a haven of peace and tranquillity and chic resorts such as Bellagio, Menaggio and Como itself.

An oasis of tranquility, Lake Como is the Italian equivalent of Beverley Hills and the list of people who've owned villas here includes George Clooney, a neighbour here in Laglio.
Described by Wordsworth as ‘a treasure which the earth keeps to itself’, the Lake has long been famous for its appearance in the writings of such classical writers as Virgil, Pliny, and Claudian.

There is a small public beach in Laglio where you can soak up the sun and further beaches within 2.5km.
There is bus stop just outside the Residence gate and the bus service is second to none. The nearest towns and villages: Curate Urio (2km) where you will find the boat stop for all areas of the lake; Moltrasio (7km) Cernobbio (9km); Como (15km); Menaggio (35km).
There is a bar at the lake edge just outside the gates, and a local butcher, mini market and post office all within 2 to 5 minutes walk. There are three local restaurants and a large supermarket and shopping mall on the outskirts of Como, just 15 minutes drive away. Milan is half an hour away by train.
In the winter you can reach the mountains within an hour an a half and enjoy some excellent skiing.

Cleaning Costs -
There is a final cleaning cost of €70 when staying for one week & €90 when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen & towels included. If staying for two weeks or more – the bed-linen & towels will be refreshed after each week. All utility usage such as water, electricity & gas, are included in the rental price.

Short Breaks -
3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff / 4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff

We offer a range of facilities, which are available for hire through our office ‘Happy Holiday Homes’ in Menaggio: Cot Hire - EU 20 per week, High Chair - EU 15 per week, Push Chair - EU 25 per week, Italian Mobile Phone - EU 15 per week, Mountain Bikes - EU 60 per week, Internet Access - EU 15 per week, Air Conditioning- EU 80 per week, (Only if the property has an AirCon Unit and you would like to use it), Boat Mooring - EU 150 per week, (Only if there is a boat mooring available at the rental property).

Payments by Credit/Debit Card & Wire Transfers -
There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
