About the home

On entering Regina Residence you have dedicated underground parking and secure bike storage, from which you go by lft to the apartments and tiered gardens (with lots of grapes in September!!!). Just a 50mtr walk from the lift and you are at the ground floor apartment with its sunny terrace patio , garden.and breathtaking view

The accommodation consists of an Open Plan Living / Dining Area overlooking the Lake, Fully Fitted Kitchenette, Contemporary fully fitted bathroom - the only studio apartment in the complex to have both a bath and shower

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area region

The apartment, in the centre of Laglio is about 100mtr from the Lake, and is known for its tranquillity, enhanced by the fact that it is one of the few villages on the lake fortunate enough to be by-passed, access being by the old lower lake road, or by nearby ferry stops and bus service (schedule for both ferry and bus varies with each season). The local ferry service is a great way of getting around from Moltrasio, Argegno and Carate Urio which is the next village about a mile south of Laglio (the latter only during peak season) to many other villages and small towns up and down the lake. For an experience of a lifetime take a seaplane flight with Como Aero Club. Take the Funicular Railway in Como for a great view over Como and the lake Life in Laglio is slow in pace and unaffected by its famous resident George Clooney, but has all the facilities you would require: grocer, butcher, post office, newsagent, hairdresser, pharmacy, a church, the village beach (shingle), bar and three good lakeside restaurants in the village During the summer the village party is held every 2 weeks, music for all ages, dancing and graeat value food

The Laglio area

Laglio has a population of 880, local shops , 3 restaurants and a bar The small upmarket town of Cernobbio with its boutique shops, banks, renowned hotel, lakeside bars and restaurants is about 7 minutes drive away. Chiasso in Switzerland is about 10Km away. Como City is about a 20 minute drive away and offers a wide variety of shops, cafés, restaurants, parks, cinema, museums, main ferry, bus and rail terminals - not forgetting the beautiful Duomo/Cathedral.

“An excellent place to stay for a relaxing trip beside the beautiful lake Como” When I first stepped into the apartment in Laglio, the view took my breath away. The apartment was cosy, clean and efficient. The representative solved a couple of minor queries very quickly for me, which was most helpful. It is situated on a very beautiful and peaceful part of the lake, and I would recommend it to others, as I really enjoyed my time there. Thank you to Dan who has been an extremely informative and helpful owner.
