This new 1 bedroom apartment is the ideal place for a romantic escape or family holiday. Located only 200 meters from the lakeside in the beautiful village of Laglio, which counts George Clooney as one of its residents, it is perfectly suited for adventurers who really want to explore Como as well as the travelers looking for a tranquil escape amid the beauty of the lake and picturesque villages.

The property has amazing views of the lake from both the living room and master bedroom. The garden is the perfect place for alfresco meals while enjoying the passing boats in the day or dancing lights on the water in the evening.

The newly restored Residence Regina complex offers beautiful communal gardens facing the lake, secure parking, and lifts from street level. There is a small bar at the entrance and a good bread shop and butcher just down the street. Private garage parking and elevator to the property are some of the many extras that this property has. The kitchen is fitted to the highest Italian standards. There is plenty of wardrobe space and high quality crisp cotton bed linen on a most comfortable King bed in the large double bedroom. The bathroom is fitted out in high quality Italian bathroom ware.

Between Lugano and the Alps and 50 km from Milan, Lake Como is ideally situated. Laglio is on the western shore and is one of Lake Como's most beautiful villages. Laglio benefits from a number of first class restaurants, bars, and hotels. Stunning architecture lines the winding cobbled streets serving as the perfect backdrop for a enchanting cycle or walk. Como centre, with its fantastic shopping, restaurants and lakeside walks is only 15 min away. Bellagio, reachable by boat or car is not to be missed. This area of the lake is renowned for its public gardens (Villa Carlotta) and numerous villas, are all worth a visit. Menaggio has an outdoor swimming pool complex and lovely 'piazza' for outdoor dining. Cernobbio is renowned for its cosmopolitan waterfront setting and collection of fabulous bars and lakeside restaurants. Dining on the lakeside beach is lovely in Argegno (10 minutes drive). Milan (45 min by train or car) boasts world-class shopping and cultural sightseeing. Designer outlets can be found in Lake Lugano. If skiing appeals, San Mortitz is easily reachable. The Lombardy / Lake Como Area region

Situated between Lugano and the Alps, Lake Como is surrounded by striking mountains and picturesque resorts and villages. Como centre, with its fantastic shopping, restaurants, and lakeside walks, is within a few minutes' drive.

Laglio, situated on the western shore is one of the most beautiful villages on Lake Como. Just 10 minutes drive from Como City and only 45 minutes drive from Malpensa airport in Milan, this luxury apartment makes an ideal location for those who want to explore all the delights Lake Como has to offer.

Como is easily reached by Milan's three main airports, Malpensa, Linate and Bergamo with several flights each day from the UK and Ireland by Aer Lingus, Ryan Air, Easy Jet, and British Airways.

All major car hire companies are located at the airports and also in Como.

Trains from central Milan, Switzerland arrive at either of Como's two train stations.

Public bus service is regular to all areas on the lake. The lakeside villages are also served by public ferry from Como to Menaggio and Bellagio, and all towns in between.

“Charming flat, excellent location!” We thoroughly enjoyed our week in your lovely place. The fixtures and fittings were first rate, the rooms scrupulously clean, and the bed very comfortable (increasingly important as we grow older!). The service could not have been friendlier or more helpful. All in all, an absolutely delightful week! We do love the area, and think that your charming flat is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy all that Como has to offer.

“Fabulous Getaway” My stay was absolute heaven. Not only was the apartment furnished with all the modern amenities needed for comfort, but it felt like home. I stayed for 25 days and enjoyed my stay so much that I plan on making this an annual trip. The property owner was fantastic in setting up my stay and the local property manager followed through to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The view from the private terrace is amazing --perfect for morning coffees and evening glasses of wine. All you hear is the sound of the water, church bells tolling in all neighboring towns and the quiet sound of dogs barking in the distance. Absolute peace. The locals are warm and inviting. The food is terrific. And, access to the ferry and neighboring towns is a breeze. Not to mention laying on the local grassfront for lounging, spectacular views and swimming in Lake Como. Absolutely loved my stay and recommend it to anyone. Not to mention, Villa Clooney is only 500 meters away!
