This beautiful detached villa with pool, is situated on the edge of a pretty village. The villa is set back from a quiet road on a raised plot commanding magnificent views of the open rolling countryside. The gardens are enclosed and not overlooked so you can enjoy your relaxing holiday in France in complete privacy. The villa has a lovely poolside area with decked terrace around the 10 x 5 metre 1.2 – 1.6 depth swimming pool which has a security cover and alarm. There is a large covered terrace area on two sides of the villa with seating for 12 persons with a built-in barbecue – perfect for outside dining and the place to be whilst watching the sunset and enjoying a glass on wine. Double garage and utility room.

The entrance hall gives access to all rooms: The lounge has leather sofas, armchair, open log fire, TV hi-fi. The dining area: dining table and chairs for 6 persons and lovely views from the enormous sliding patio windows (with electric shutters and electric awning). There are French windows in all main rooms, leading on to front and rear terraces. Fitted kitchen/diner and further table and seating for 4 persons - with dishwasher, microwave, built-in fridge. The corridor leads to bedroom 1: double bed and single bed. Bedroom 2: king-size bed. Bedroom 3: double bed with washbasin. Bedroom 4: 2 singles and folding bed, washbasin. Bathroom with shower cubicle. Separate WC. Stairs lead down to the garage and utility room with freezer, additional large fridge, sink, washing machine, tumble drier and another separate WC. Cot, highchair and baby gate are all available on request.

The Limousin / Auvergne / Haute-Vienne region

The villa is ideally placed for sightseeing, sitauted in the Perigord/Limousin national park and being close to the Dordogne/Haute Vienne borders. The nearest shops are only a 5 minute walk to the village of Ladignac-le-Long where there is also a large lake with water sports, beach and good restaurant. Here you can also enjoy a spot of fishing or a game of tennis. Within a 15 minute drive is the pretty market town of Saint Yrieix la Perche. Here you will find a large selection of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, banks. The villa is also ideally placed for visits to prehistoric sites, grand chateaux, vineyards or to the historic city of Limoges – world famous for its porcelain.

Visit neighbouring Dordogne for interesting days out with its beautiful rolling countryside and medieval villages. The quiet country roads make walking or driving or cycling a pleasure. International airport Limoges at 39 km

The villa comfortably sleeps 8 persons but there is an additional fold-up bed in the twin bedroom for an additional child.

The 10 metre by 5 metre swimming pool is alarmed and has a security cover. The gardens are completely fenced in on all sides of the property.

Conditions

A 200 euro security deposit is required and is to be paid on arrival. This deposit will be returned in full at your departure subject to there being no damages or excess cleaning of the property.

Notes to the rental rates

More pictures are available by email so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have queries. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due six weeks prior to the start of the holiday. If booking is made within 6 weeks, then full payment is required on arrival. Bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday except by special arrangement. A key/security deposit of 200 Euros will also be required on arrival to cover any accidental damage/breakages. This security deposit will be refunded on your departure, subject to there being no damage to or excess cleaning of the property.

Bed linen and towels can be supplied at 12 Euros per person.
