The Chapel has very large living spaces both upstairs & downstairs. The spacious ground floor dining area is completely open plan through to the kitchen, with a staircase rising to the huge gallery lounge above. The effect is to create a fantastic space in which to cook, dine, relax & enjoy. The Chapel is an ideal location for entertaining, featuring a tasteful blend of antiques, modern furnishings & subtle lighting which helps set the mood for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Tall arched windows flood the interior with natural light & offer stunning views across the Lacock rooftops, whist under-floor heating throughout ensure you always feel cosy.
When it comes to cooking the kitchen has all you need to flex your culinary skills. Your creations are served on the antique refectory table flanked by ornate church pews seating 12 diners. End your meal using the Nespresso coffee maker with ample supplies provided. Settle down at days end & enjoy the 47" Blu-ray home cinema multi speaker sound system. Curl up, light the fire & relax into your country retreat.
The Chapel provides flexible sleeping for up to 10 with up to 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are appointed with double beds & en-suite shower rooms whist the 4th bedroom has both a bunk bed plus double sofa bed. The icing on the cake is the loft suite with large double bed featuring exposed oak beams, en-suite, skylights & private reading gallery with own stair case.
- Bedroom 1 - Top floor master double suite, galleried reading room with chaise & views, En-suite shower-room & separate wash room.
- Bedroom 2 & 3 - Ground floor Double Bed, both with en-suite shower-rooms featuring wash basins & toilets.
- Bedroom 4 - Ground floor bunk bed (2 singles) plus large double sofa bed.
- All bedrooms feature ceiling fans (except top floor) & under-floor heating.
- All bedrooms have a 22" LED Freeview TV / DVD player.
- All rooms are stylishly decorated with oak floors, sash windows, cotton covered quilts & bedding.
- As well as the en-suites there is also a large bathroom on the ground floor featuring walk in shower & Whirlpool bath.
- All en-suites & bathrooms have heated towel rails, multi voltage shave points, soaps, shampoos, shower gels & ample towels.
Please note, the property can be booked as either a 3 bedroom / 6 - 8 person OR a 4 bedroom / 10 person option
The three bedroom option provides just the three ground floor bedrooms comprising 2 x double bed rooms (both en suite) plus a family bunk room comprising 2 single bunks plus a double sofa bed. All living room and dining spaces are included as well as the family bathroom. The only part of the property which is excluded is the top floor double bed suite and the front reading gallery.
The four bedroom option provides access to the whole property comprising all of the above and includes the top floor double bed suite and the front reading gallery.

The chapel is within easy reach of the historic UNESCO world heritage city of Bath, with its Roman Baths and classic Georgian architecture. The Chapel can also be used as a base to explore further afield with Bristol, Stonehenge, Castle Coombe, Cheddar Gorge and Longleat Safari park all within an hours drive. It is also a fantastic place to just explore the beautiful Wiltshire and North Somerset countryside on foot, hoof or bike.
