Warm throughout the year but very warm in July and August. Alicante 40 minutes away by car.
La Zenia area
Torrevieja is a pleasant biggish town with marina, fish market shopping and pleasant walks along the seafront. Not commercialised. La Zenia has several pretty sandy coves and numerous roads with established villas and gardens. La Zenia beach is the largest beach with hotel etc.
How to get there
Cheap airlines such as jet2.com and bmibaby.com travel to Murcia airport, 20 minutes by car to apartment. Carhire available from holiday autos.com. Alicante airport 40 minutes by car.
