The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The southern Costa Blanca has an average of 320 days a year of sunshine and maintains an average year round temperature of 24°C. Stunning, European-Blue-Flag-awarded beaches - good quality facilities and safe bathing. You could take the opportunity to enjoy a soothing massage on offer right where you lay on the beach. Sun bed and sunshade hire is available on most beaches as is free public conveniences and showers.
The beaches nearest the apartment are Campoamor, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Cabo Roig. If you enjoy seafront walks, then one not to miss is the coastal walk from Playa Flamenca Beach, via La Zenia to Cabo Roig.
La Zenia / Las Ramblas Alicante area
Your golf complex is the Real Club de Golf Campoamor, and should be seen to be believed, with superb views of the countryside and sea. It boasts an excellent restaurant, bar, patio, golf pro shop, pool, spa, tennis courts and gym. Green fees average €35 - €40 for 18 holes. Locally you will find plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. In La Zenia, try Paddy's Point for music and craic, and enjoy some beautiful meals in this area also.
Markets are held around the area on every day of the week and are well worth visiting as is the famous craft market in Torrevieja. The warm waters, natural beaches and mud spas of the Mar Menor are around 20 minutes away where water sports fans will find a multitude of activities available. For shopping, Torrevieja with over 2,500 shops and commercial premises, there is something for everybody. Fashion, perfume, electrial goods, leather and shoes, plus of course restaurants can be found.
How to get there
Murcia and Alicante airports are approximately 15 minutes and 40 minutes drive away with a good selection of car hire facilities. Alternatively, we can arrange for you to be collected and driven to and from the apartment at additional cost.
