Home description
The Las Ramblas golf resort is a safe, peaceful gated community where you can be sure to enjoy a relaxing holiday - but not remote! Within easy reach are a variety of fabulaous restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets, fantastic sandy coves and beaches, the still and warm waters fo the Mar Menor, exciting water parks, safari parks and theme parks. Las Ramblas Golf Course, orihuela Costa (Costa Blanca) is the perfect place for golf, fabulous beaches and total relaxation.
The climate in this area is more predictable tha it is in other parts of Spain. There is almost constant sunshine through most of the year and cooling sea breezes during the hottest spells. By mid February, there is heat in the sun and ideal golfing conditions prevail until early May. October through to Christmas is also a popular period.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
There are an enormous number of fantastic beaches in the area. almost all of these are safe, blue flag beaches with lifeguards in attendance during the main summer season. Each beach has its own character and it;s worth trying out a few different ones to see which you prefer. The closest beach is Campoamor. This is a mjuch larger beach also weith a beach bar and sunloungers and where parking is easier there is also a propert beach restaurant opposite the small marina. There is a banana boat here and pedalos for hire. you can also hire jet skis. This beach gets quite busy in the height of the summer but tends to start to clear at about 3 p.m.
LA ZENIA is also close by here you will fidn sun-loungers to hire and a couple of beach bars. To the left hand side of the La Zenis hotel is a very quiet more naturral beach and to the right hand side is the beach with the bars etc. if you buy lunch or drinks at eht hotel, you will be able to use their facilities as well they have a great pool and a children's play area. Additionally there is a restaurnant adjacent to the hotel where you can pay to use their pool. the major drawbacks here are that it can be tricky to park and the beaches are quite small and can get busy. The beaches at Cabo Roig and Cala Capitan are small rocky coves reached by decending steps. These beaches are very popular and there is also a marina and restaurants adjacent to some. There is anic beach at Mil Palmeras and here you will find a whole area of small beach bars and restaurnants. Some predominantly Englis and German a few Spanish ones, it has to be said.
TORREVIEJA is the closest town and much nicer than everyoe thinks it is an especially nice place to strool at night along the sea front before eating. There is an ethnic market every afternoon which stays open until about 11 p.m. each night and a pedestrian promenade which literally goes on for miles. Contrary to popular opinion, which is that it is a very English City, you probably will not see many English peo;le in the centre of Torrevieja, as it is a predominantly Spanish place, even though there are many English and other foreign residents living in its suburbs. From about 9.00 p.m. the local residents and tourists come out and amble along the "paseo" (sea front walk) begins and continues until the early hours of the morning particularly on a Sunday. You will find young people, families with young children and older people all strolling up and down and enjoying the relative coolness of the evening. For the best atmosphere try not to eat before about 10.00 p.m.
