Home description

Casa Cashon is located in a quiet gated community within 5 minute walking distance of several bars, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. As well as the communal pool there are 2 further local pools (small charge payable) with large sunbathing area, bar, restaurant, crazy golf, kids games and play area and are also within a 5 -10 minute walk.
There are three international quality golf courses, several blue flag beaches, and a wider range of restaurants and bars with live entertainment only a 5 minute drive or taxi ride away. For those romantic nights-in the apartment has a fully equipped modern kitchen ideal for home cooking and dining 'al fresco' on the balconies.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Casa Cashon is situated on the Orihuela Costa near the popular resort of La Zenia about 5 km south of Torrevieja. It is ideally located near the coast with several superb Blue Flag beaches, close to two large, beautiful outdoor public swimming pools and three superb golf courses. All the usual holiday resort activities are available including go-carting.This part of the Costa Blanca is famous for being one of the healthiest places to live in Spain due to the presence of the natural salt lakes which also attract unusual and beautiful birdlife. At nearby San Pedro Del Pinatar there is a natural sea water lake where the locals regularly take mud baths which are beleived to cure all manner of ailments and keep them looking young and healthy.


La Zenia area

Torrevieja is a long established holiday resort for Spaniards and is still a busy working fishing port. There is a superb market where fresh fish and seafood can be purchased as well as much more exotic 'fruits de mer'.
The sea front has a long promenade with lots of bars, cafes, restaurants and ice cream parlours. It has a water park and all the other ammeneties you would expect from a holiday town. For those looking for more activity most of the local coastline has a footpath to walk on and the Naural parks around Mercia with beautiful mountain and river walks are within an hours drive. The unique splenour of the La Manga strip on the Mar Menor and the famous La Manga golf course and celebrity retreat is only a 45 minute drive away.


How to get there

- Book your flights on-line and Fly to either Mercia (San Javier) or Alicante airport using any one of the many low cost airlines.
- Be picked up and dropped off at either airport using the door to door transfer service provided by our local key holder (local charge payable).
- Alternatively book car hire with your flights, pick your car up from the airport, and drive to and from the apartment yourself.
- Transfer times are aproximately 25 minutes from Murcia and 40 minutes from Alicante. A map will be provided on booking. The apartment is close to both the motorway and the main coast road and is therefore easy to find.
- A good taxi service is also available to and from the airports, and locally as well, if you do not wish to drive.

The apartment block is only 3 storeys high and Casa Cashon occupies the top 2, the lower floor comprises entrance hall with stairs to top floor, fully fitted modern kitchen and arch through to open plan dining room with table and 4 chairs and lounge with patio doors leading to balcony with table and 4 chairs.
The first floor comprises two double bedrooms and large fitted wardrobes each with patio doors to balconies and a modern bathroom with shower. The front balcony has a small table and 2 chairs, the rear balcony provides access to the utility room which houses sun loungers and reclining chairs, and the spiral stairs to the roof terrace.

Further details outdoors:
Casa Cashon is located on a wide but quiet street which provides ample car parking directly outside the apartment. Access to the apartment is around the back via locked gates which provides security as well as safety for young children. There is a small flight of stairs to the back door which is provided with security lighting, the stairs are not suitable for disabled access.
The communal pool and sunbathing area is a 1 minute walk to the centre of the community and is overlooked by several properties on both sides and therefore completely safe for children to play.

Our Key Holder lives only a few doors away on the same community and is available for assistance any time of day or night.

Cost Savings given for bookings of two weeks or more.
Minimum £50 deposit required with booking.
Balance payable within 8 weeks of arrival date or with booking if less than 8 weeks away.
35 Euro charge payable to local key holder before departure to cover apartment cleaning costs.
