A 5 minute walk to the Blue Flag sandy beach of La Zenia. Here there are jet-ski’s, a banana boat and pedalo’s to hire in the summer months, as well as the usual 'bars on the beach' The apartment is also in very easy walking distance of all local amenities: bars, restaurants, shops, banks and chemists. A car is not required. For those who hire a car an underground secure garage can be provided on request.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The southern Costa Blanca or White Coast as the name means, has an average of 320 days a year of sunshine and maintains an average year round temperature of 24°C. According to the World Health Organisation the area has the "healthiest climate in the world". This is caused by the combination of constant year round warm temperatures and the two huge salt lakes rich in minerals of 'Laguna de la Mata' (now a conservation area) and the 'Laguna de Torreveija'. The natural salt lakes dry the air, therefore reducing humidity and producing a healthy atmosphere beneficial for people who suffer with chest problems, arthritis, rheumatism etc. These lakes are also home to a host of wildlife including large flocks of flamingos.
La Zenia area
La Zenia ia very popular coastal area famous for its' 'Blue Flag' beahes. Many superb restaurants catering for all tastes are to be found in the surrounding area. The golf courses of Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas are 10 minutes by car and La Finca (Algorfa) is about 20kms away The numerous blue flag beaches and local conservation areas such as Laguna de Torrevieja, Laguna de La Mata & Dunas de Guardamar are all close by. The Mar Menor is only about 20 minutes away by car and the theme park, Terra Mitica is less than an hour away. The area also is home to some fantastic birdlife including pink flamingos.
