About the home

This lovely apartment is very well situated for the beach as it is only 10 minutes walk to the blue flag beach at La Zenia. The communal pool is right at the side of the apartment so is perfect for the early morning dip.The spacious balcony is the perfect place to sit with a drink and watch to sun go down.There is a large supermarket only 10 minutes walk away. There is a large selection of bars and restaurants all within very easy walking distance, but far enough away from them for the apartment to be in a quiet area.
There is a bus service into Torrevieja. This lovely town has a great selection of cafe bars, where you can sit with a coffee and watch the world go by, and there is also marina.There is also a theme park at Santa Pola for the younger ones. Benidorm is only about 1hour 20 minutes by car..There are many beautiful towns in the surrounding area with great arcitecture and lovely old buildings to wander round.
There are 3 very good golf courses all within 10 minutes drive from the apartment. They will test any golfers ability.!! It is adviseable to book tee reservations.

There is a safe for your use. Useful to put flight tickets passports spare money etc in.There is also airconI fitted in the lounge area, (this is a new addition.) I ask that clients provide their own beach towels, and also that they don't smoke in the apartment, but please feel free to smoke on the balcony.There is also T.V with all english speaking channels, so you can keep up with the "soaps"and sport. There is also a music centre and a varied selection of C.Ds.

There is a balcony/ terrace and a small garden at the front of the property.and there is also patio furniture on the balcony and a couple of sun beds for clients to use.The small garden area at the front of the apartment is for the sole use of clients using the apartment.

The swimming pool is closed from 10pm at night until 7am in the morning.and is open 12 months of the year.but as it isn't heated perhaps a little chilly in winter !! The small garden at the front of the apartment is the for the sole use of the apartment.

Conditions

This apartment should appeal to families as well as couples.as it is only 10 minutes walk down a quiet street to the beach.There is a £50 or 70 euros ( paid in the form of a cheque) breakage deposit, the cheque is torn up at the end of your stay. That way you aren't left with "money" at the end of your holiday.and a one off management charge of 60€ This fee covers the cost of laundry of all bedding and towels etc as you leave the apartment and also covers the cost of cleaning it.on your departure There is an air con unit fitted in the lounge area. This is a "pay as you go" and is operated by a slot meter. The meter takes 2 euro coins and will give you approxematley 6 hours running time.I have chosen NOT to include it in the rental charges. Why pay for something you may not use ?

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca area of Torrevieja boasts 350 days sunshine per year.An ideal place for some winter sunshine.There is a large nature area at the Mar Menors.here "twitchers" can watch native and migratory birds. The city of Elche is renowned for its colloection of palm trees.La Manga is only about 35 minutes drive away and is well worth a visit.The beautiful city of Mercia is worth a visit as there are some beautiful parks and a magnificent cathederal to wander round.

The La Zenia area

The Orihuela Costa complex is only 5 minutes walk away There you can play tennis work out in the gym or laze in the gardens or have a swim in the very large pool. There is also a good snack bar and also a nice restaurant.There is a theme park at sant Pola and also a water park. The blue flag beach of La Zenia is only 10 minutes easy walk away.The road down to the beach is very quiet and so is safe if you have children with you.La Zenia is well served with some nice restaurants and bars which are just a stroll away.There is a submarine moored in the harbour at Torrevieja and you can have a look around it and its free!! There is also a nice craft market each evening down by the marina, where you can pick up some nice things which are "different"
