From the owner

Experience the chic luxury of the stunning Chalet Auriane which is open for winter skiing trips and summer escapes.

Chalet Auriane is a newly built chalet in the Verbier 4 Valleys ski system built to the highest luxury specifications in a traditional style but with a stunning contemporary interior - offering every comfort and facility to the discerning skier. A proper ski holiday should offer freedom to do what you want when you want. The real luxury with Chalet Auriane is that you have everything offered by the finest hotels without having to conform to any of their rules.

Chalet Auriane offers its guests an on piste location with easy ski-in ski-out access, a luxury leisure spa room with sauna, hammam, river shower and relaxation area including an outdoor Jacuzzi.

Chalet Auriane is fully managed by experienced full-time staff who will cater to your every need. The talented cook will produce traditional and modern cuisine for you throughout your stay according to your wishes.

The chalet has been designed by a team of architects and interior designers utilising stone, wood and steel to create a harmonious light-filled space perfect for relaxing in.

With the best view over the valley, the chalet is spread over two floors perched on the side of the mountain. Access is either by skis directly from the piste or by a small private funicular lift system which will deliver you from the road to the front door. The chalet is ski-in ski-out located just 100 m from the main ski lift, so no problems with easy access.

The outdoor jacuzzi is located immediately adjacent to the relaxation spa room containing the novel Sanarium™ sauna system which allows every combination of heat therapy from traditional sauna through tropical rain forest to steam room.

Further details indoors

Upstairs is a stunning 90m2 open plan living room/ dining room and kitchen with floor to ceiling picture windows guaranteeing breathtaking views. The rear wall constructed from local stones engenders a feeling of calm aided by the enormous comfortable sofas. The central uniquely designed fireplace links all aspects of the room and provides a focal point while you watch the cooks prepare your meals in the impressive ultramodern kitchen with its thick matt black granite work surfaces.

The chalet sleeps up to 12 guests (8 adults and 4 children) in five good sized en suite bedrooms, including a master suite, all of which have fabulous panoramic views. The master suite has to be seen to be believed. Lie in the hand-made super king size bed and watch a film on the 42” Panasonic TV or drink a glass of champagne while sharing the oversized bath and look out over the uninterrupted views over the valley. The walk in shower is encased by a beautiful single piece of stone complemented by teak flooring. The private secluded balcony allows complete seclusion.

For families, the chalet is a haven for the little ones with a selection of games, sledges, books and endless films.

Good food and wine are two of life's richer pleasures. Throughout your stay our talented cook, who is an experienced and creative artist, will produce modern and traditional cuisine to tantalize your taste buds. The cook will frequently take account of your likes and expectations, rarely sticking to a fixed menu plan.

Toddlers and younger children are not left out. Combined with a little magic and some help from the mums, the cook will plan special menus, ensuring the little ones also enjoy wonderful food during their luxury ski holiday and at a time best suited to them.

As ever, it is up to you to set the pace and dining can be as formal or relaxed as you wish. A typical day in Chalet Auriane starts off with morning tea served in bed, followed by a hearty breakfast. While you are out skiing, a sumptuous afternoon tea is prepared and laid out for your return. In the evening, relax with some pre-dinner champagne and canapés before sitting down to a 4 course meal. After dinner, enjoy coffee and chocolates in front of the roaring log fire, discussing the highlights of the day.

The evening meals are complemented by a selection of delicious white and red wines. You also have the option of purchasing even higher quality wines from our extensive à la carte list. The collection is predominantly focused on French classified wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and Languedoc, but internationally recognised local wines have also been stored in the perfect cellaring conditions.
