Situated only 1000m from the beach, just outside the village of St Phillibert and close to the world famous yachting centre of La Trinite sur Mer, Ker Arno is a pleasant mobile home park with a good range of amenities. The large, heated swimming pool, with its waterslide and spacious sun-bathing area with sun-loungers, provide a focal point for the park's activities.
The well equipped children's play area, multi-sports pitch, table tennis and boules terrain are all close by. In high season( between 4/7 and 29/8), there is free entertainment for all ages with the children's club (for ages 4 - 11) five half days a week and teenagers club (ages 12 -15) and both day time and evening events for adults.
The bar and small take away are open during July and August and fresh bread can be ordered from reception.

The Brittany / Morbihan region
Morbihan, or 'small sea', in Breton, is the name of the area and of gulf of Morbihan which shelters some 30 islands, many of which are uninhabited.
The region benefits from a mild climate and has many wonderful beaches and attractive seaside resorts such as Carnac Plage, La Trinite and Quiberon. .
La Trinite sur Mer / St Philibert area
Nearby Carnac is famous for its megalithic monuments. Individual standing stones, menhirs and Dolmens are scattered liberally around the surrounding countryside and the 'Alignements' a long complex alignment of standing stones, thought to have an astronomical function draw thousands of visitors every year. La Trinite is most famous as a yachting harbour though it also has a small fishing fleet and the regular fish market is superb.
Auray, just a 20 minute drive from St Philibert is a charming Breton town with a lovely old port lined with good restaurants. The weekly market takes over the town on Monday and is well worth a visit.
Boat trips around the Gulf of Morbihan make a pleasant way to spend a day with stops at Belle Ile or the much smaller Ile aux Moines.
How to get there
If you want to take the ferry and have a relatively short drive in France, St Malo is the closest channel port just 207km away (about 2h17mins drive). For a short channel crossong and a longer drive in France, Calais is 675 kilometres and just over 6 hours drive.
The closest airport is Rennes (142km and approx. 1h 37mins away) or Dinard (165km and approx. 2h 08mins) . Flybe fly from Belfast, Exeter and Manchester to Rennes whilst Ryanair fly from Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands and Stansted to Dinard.
It is possible to take the TGV to Rennes and then local trains as far as Auray, which is just 18kms away.

Further details indoors: Every mobile home has a kitchen area with a sink, a microwave or an oven, a cooker hob and a fridge, with crockery and cutlery. There is a shower room and a toilet. There is an outside area with garden table and chairs. The Mobile Home sleeping 6 to 8 People has 3 bedrooms and measures approx 31 m².
Bedroom One has a double bed, Bedroom Two has twin beds and Bedroom Three has twin beds and there is a double sofa bed in the lounge area.
There is a car park at the entrance. There are 2 nearby tennis courts and for sailing lessons you can go to St Philibert. The local supermarket shops are situated at 1200m or the large shops of la Trinité are approx 5 km.
Further details
You may rent a BBQ, and hire bed linen (10 euros per person ) and towels 5.50 euros per person. A children's pack (cot, high chair, bath for 25 euros per stay) and rent a portable TV (French) 30-50 euros from reception but warning, the TV’s reception is not very good in the area!. Bikes are available for hire too.
There is a security and cleaning deposit of 300 euros CASH to pay on arrival. The final cleaning service from 52 euros may be ordered if you do not wish to clean your mobile home yourself. Taxe de sejour (the local tourist tax) is payable on arrival. Booking fee: 25 euros and is non refundable. Many special offers available, please ask for more details.
Conditions
In July and August, arrivals are from 17.00h to 20.30h on Saturday and departures are from 07.00h to 10.00h on Saturday. Outside these months more flexible arrival and departure times may be available. Please call reception.
