This elegant 6 bedroom family themed villa is an ideal holiday home for 2 or 3 families wishing to share a memorable holiday experience as each families private area (i.e. master bedroom and kids room) all have their own shower rooms or bathrooms. Beau Rivage also boasts a fenced private swimming pool and is in the ideal location being just 5 minutes, by car, from sandy beaches and a couple of minutes walk from a lively village with cafes, restaurants and twice weekly markets.
The air conditioned spacious main sitting room has a 42inc. plasma screen with sky+, whereas the air conditioned Playroom/home cinema room (somewhere special for the kids) has a projector TV and a huge library of over 200 classic and up-to-date family films to enjoy. The additional, air conditioned sitting area upstairs, has another TV where the kids can play on the Wii console and X-Box 360 with 'Kinect' sensor - so this villa certainly supplies plenty of areas for the kids to be entertained!

The air conditioned main sitting room, with traditional French wooden doors and windows, has a 42 inch Plasma wall mounted screen, with three sofas, wooden coffee table and rugs for maximum comfort. Enjoy watching either sports, 'the tweenies' or a good old fashion film or simply just relax with a glass of wine and a good book (a huge library of excellent English books supplied including fiction, romance novels, biography & thrillers!). If you prefer, plug in your iPod and listen to your favourite artist on the wonderful 'Bose' music system and enjoy some easy reading laying in the sun. The excellent variety of magazines will keep you entertained with favourites like Homes & Gardens, Country Living, 25 Beautiful Homes, Marie Claire plus Hello, OK and Heat to name but a few.
Also on the ground floor is the additional cinema room with projector TV the kids can enjoy, just like being at the movies! This is an excellent 'chill out' room for the kids with a great child friendly atmosphere.

Baking fun - In your holiday home you will also find child friendly, colourful and fun baking equipment so the kids can really have some fun on holiday making a mess! Mixing bowl, spatulas, wooden spoons, teddy silicone mould, whisk, cookie cutters, chocolate moulds plus rolling pin all ready and waiting for the whole family to enjoy. Choose your favourite cupcake from one of the many wonderful recipes supplied (including cappuccino, crème brulee and lemon chiffon) in an easy to follow recipe binder which we are sure the kids, and of course the parents, will love! We also supply fun, easy-to-follow, baby & toddler recipes so the older children can help mum and dad cook for their younger sister, brother or cousin.
Kids gardening equipment - Let the kids have fun planting their own seeds at the kitchen table - you will find various gardening equipment including plastic trowel, fork, cultivator and an elephant watering can plus seeds (sunflower, poppy and cress for example) potting crates and soil so the kids can spend the afternoon having fun. Let the kids take their wonderful creations home with them and watch the excitement on the kids' faces when their flowers start to grow, reminding them of a great holiday!
Colouring corner- Kids can relax in the evening and enjoy colouring and drawing - 'Best Friends doodles' express the joy of friendship with it's cool pictures to create, colour and complete. Plus wonderful big busy work sheets with puzzles, mazes, searches, spot the difference, doodling, drawing and colouring. All colouring pencils included so the kids can have creative relaxing time enjoying drawing the best parts of their holiday!

Those little extras- Beau Rivage is a self catering holiday home and you will need to bring/buy basic essentials - however, to make things a little easier for your arrival, we are delighted to offer you complimentary a small supply of essentials including tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up liquid, dish-cloths, dish washer tablets, bin bags, kitchen foil, cling-film and toilet rolls so everything is ready is there for your arrival.

The heated 7m x 4m swimming pool is fully fenced with a lockable gate and is a depth of 1.35m throughout. It is directly in front of the front terrace area.

Blue Flag Sandy Beaches (10 minutes away by car)
The fantastic sandy beaches are over 13 kilometres long - and 8 kilometres of them face due south. La-Tranche-sur-Mer and Les Conches are ideal for families with children. They are approved as a "Kids Station", which means that the resort is a safe environment for children to play in. It also has specialist equipment and entertainments which specifically cater for families.
Great Quad Bike/karting experience (2 minutes away by car)
Let the kids (and indeed the big boys!) be the next Lewis Hamilton or Jenson Button for a while! Whiz around the course and have a great thrill trying to beat your opponents. For safety reasons, the kids go on the course only with other children and the safety briefing is excellent. Indian Forest Adventure (5 minutes away by car)
This great theme park has marked trails in a forest, as well as 122 different challenges. Suspended on safety harnesses, you are able to climb, swing, dismount and even slide across the forest at a height of 20ft above the ground. There is also an adventure area for toddlers, with themed bouncy castles, a ball park, rock climbing and an inflatable park. Aquarium La Rochelle (1hr away by car)
This is a 2 hour journey into the depth of the ocean - The kids will just love it. There are over 10,000 Atlantic, Mediterranean and Tropical species to view in an amazing 3 million litres of water. The huge shark aquarium with 20 different species was amazing if not a little frightening . Dunes Adventure Park (1hr away by car)
With over 38 different activities for the children to play on, the kids are bound to find a favourite! The kids will thoroughly enjoy everything on offer especially the water slides, trampolines (fully enclosed) and toboggan rides. A very safe, clean and friendly environment and lots of under cover shaded picnic area.
Puy du Fou (1hr 30mins away by car)
This is where time stands still - and will be an instant hit with children and adults alike. You'll see villages from different eras, gladiators still doing battle and Vikings launching attacks on fortified castles! In the summer, there are 28 evening/night shows with 300 fireworks per show, 2000 digitally-controlled projectors, 1500 computerised fountains, 4500 costumes and many more special effects. Cycle rail on tracks (1hr 30 away by car)
This is a great chance for the entire family to have some quality time together taking in the beautiful countryside, and wildlife whilst enjoying a picnic. Oceanile water park (2hrs away by car)

Fishing on the rivers (5 minutes away by car)
You can enjoy two types of fishing - On the freshwater rivers upstream from the lock gates at Moricq, you can try for pike, perch, carp, bream and other bleak. You will need a licence which can be purchased at the villages Office du Tourism. Or you can fish in the saltwater reaches of the Lay, from the gates of Moricq to the mouth of the river which is subject to maritime regulations, so you can fish free of charge, for grey mullet, eels and plaice
The La Tranche sur Mer area
The villa is only a minutes stroll from the centre of the village of 'Longeville sur Mer'. In the months of July and August the village has a large street market on both Monday and Friday mornings, so an excellent opportunity to sample much of the locally produced food, including cheese, meat, fish and wine.
The village has an Office de Tourisme, a post office, banks, hairdresser, beauty salon, florist, pharmacy, cafes/bars and restaurants, two butchers, a fishmonger, a fruit & vegetable shop and of course a 'cave' for you to purchase local wine. There is also a 'Hyper' supermarket, just on the outskirts of the village, 5 minutes away by bike!
In the summer months Longeville sur Mer organises special events in the square including fun days, evening entertainers, jazz and blues nights, firework displays and night markets. You can sit with the locals and enjoy 'moules & frites' listening to a band watching the kids dance to their hearts content.
Located so close to the village, you can visit in the evenings to one of the restaurants, or stroll down in the morning to pick up your fresh croissants and baguette.
The large fishing port of l'Aiguillon is just 20 minutes away. Early risers can choose from a range of freshly-caught fish, mussels, oysters, langoustine and gambas at the town's fish market which is open every weekday at 5am. Those who prefer a lie-in can sample the seafood later in the day at one of the many wonderful fish restaurants in the town.
Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a leisure rider, this area has plenty of surprises in store for you. All along the 'Loire a Velo' signposted bike trial, you can marvel at the stunning Loire countryside, visit chateaux & abbeys, stroll through quaint little towns & cycle through vineyards for over 110 miles!
The Val de Loire Vineyards Tourist Trail - 40,000 hectares of 'degustation' - The skills of the vine were introduced by the Romans, and are now one of the main assets of the Pays de la Loire. Sweet, dry, sparkling, white, red or rose - every one of you will find just what you're looking for among our prestigious AOC wines. Saumur Brut, Coteaux du Layon, Saumur-Champigny, Anjou Villages, Muscadet, Mareuil wines... From the Nantes area to Montsoreau, the Val de Loire Vineyards Tourist Trail extends you a warm welcome!

We stayed in the house just after Christmas and into the New Year. The house spacious even with all 9 of us milling around. As the weather was chilly in December, we went to the beach just once and did not use the pool at all. We spent cosy evenings by the woodburning fire, and days eating mainly, walking to the baker each morning, restaurant lunch then back to the house for the evening meal. Supermarkets are nearby, and have everything. The village of is very pretty, blue shaded shutters everywhere. Best of all, the boulangerie (bakery) was open on New Year's Day. The house had the feeling of 70's glamour, updated for today's needs. The kitchen looked new, the tables in the dining area sat all of us at once easily. The bedrooms all have the original windows and shutters, lots of character. There were enough loos and bathrooms for all of us. Linen was included and we treated ourselves to a chef for one of the nights. The children spent many happy hours playing with the games on the landing. There was also a separate sofa area with another tv if the children wanted to watch a film, which they did, and it worked well. I think the summer prices are more, but we found it value for money for the time we were there. |

All our sales staff are knowledgeable on all our properties and the surrounding area. They will discuss your requirements, offer advice, and answer any questions you may have.
The Group Leader/Client will then be sent, via e-mail, the booking form and terms of business and is responsible for checking, signing and returning the form within 48hrs of receipt. This acts as your acceptance of the holiday details and terms and conditions for and on behalf of all party members named on the booking form. Payments are made by bank transfer to a UK account.
The Group Leader/Client is also responsible for ensuring that all group members' details are correct, that all have adequate insurance, and for collecting full payment of the holiday 16 weeks prior to arrival. All correspondence will be between JD Holiday Lettings Ltd and the Group Leader/Client only.
Please allow up to 5 working days for your funds to be received. Once we have confirmation from the bank, we will send your Booking Reservation Confirmation together with discounted Brittany Ferry codes plus lots more information that will help you get ready for your holiday.
Prices depend on season (see Availability section), and may be subject to change and are based on up to 8 adults and 7 children sharing the property at any one time.
The property is let on a weekly basis from Sunday to Sunday however, out of peak and high season, the arrival and departure dates may be flexible.
The swimming pool is open from mid May until mid September each year from 10am until 8pm daily.
A standard end of stay cleaning charge is due of £69.00 and must be paid prior to arrival.
