About the home
Fully air-conditioned, this property has two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite) and is furnished to a high but very comfortable standard with everything you need. Beds can be requested as singles or king-size and there is a comfy sofa bed if your party consists of 5 or 6 guests.
The large terrace upstairs allows you to relax and recline on the sunbeds whilst watching the sun set over the distant mountains. Private space and lawns at the rear, side and front of the property allows a perfect opportunity for children to play with a swimming pool (inc baby pool) and play area directly opposite.
If you fancy a night in, the property boasts a 32 inch flat screen TV (inc all UK channels & Skysports) or you could just watch a DVD or listen to CDs on the DVD/CD player. The sliding doors at the rear of the house open to a lit, terraced area where you can dine al fresco. However, there are numerous bars and restaurants on site to cater for all tastes as well as a fully stocked supermarket.

The property has everything you need for a relaxing, stress free holiday. The kitchen is fully equipped should you wish to cook indoors or why not call to book a table at one of the many restaurants located within the complex (the property has a telephone to make such calls or to receive incoming calls).
There are two family bathrooms but the bathroom adjoining the bedroom upstairs can be classed as an ensuite so often, if a family are staying in the property, the adults grab the upstairs !
Set back from one of the main roads within the complex, you are not overlooked at all.

Situated on a curve, at the end of 4 houses, the property has more space than most of the other houses of a similar build.
Previous guests with families have enjoyed the safe surroundings which allow children to play in the private gardens of the property whilst the adults sit outside on either of the large terraces.
The comfy sun loungers are a great way to catch the sun all day long on the upstairs terrace or why not relax by one of the many communal pools (the closest is directly opposite which has a great baby pool too) spread around the complex.
An added bonus of renting this property means that a full women's and men's set of golf clubs are available to hire for free (bringing golf clubs from England can actually cost more than the flight itself if you have a cheap flight !)
A barbecue is available for a relaxing evening's dining !

• Refundable breakages deposit of £150 required 2 weeks prior to arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
• 25% of rental fee due to secure booking. Full payment due 6 weeks prior to arrival.

The Murcia region
La Torre Golf Resort is situated on the Costa Calida (which means warm coast) and has some of the best weather in the whole of Spain. Renowned for having a minimum of 320 days of sunshine a year, the mild winters and gorgeously warm spring, summer and autumn months make it a perfect destination for golfers and holiday-makers alike.
The nearby coastline stretches for over 250 km where 2 different seas (The Mar Menor and the Mediterranean) meet on one single coast. The Mar Menor (which means ‘little sea’ and is only 15 minutes away by car) is one of the safest seas in Europe for children due to its lagoon like qualities. This is because it is protected from the elements by a strip of land which makes it as calm as a harbour. Not only is it suitable for children but the Mar Menor is a fantastic location for water sports too, such as windsurfing, kite-surfing, jet skiing and sailing.
There are many other beautiful beaches to explore satisfying a complete range of tastes. The coastline offers impressive cliffs, sandunes, lively harbours and secluded coves such as Torre de la Horadada, Santiago de la Ribera, Los Alcazeras (there is also a Tourist Info Centre based here) and San Pedro del Pinatar.
It is surprising how relatively undiscovered this area is with it’s fantastic range of qualities. As well as the beautiful beaches, this region can also offer dramatic mountain ranges and national parks (Sierra Espuna and El Valle)
ensuring those who like peace and quiet are catered for.
You could also explore the capital of the region, Murcia City, a vibrant, cosmopolitan shopping centre with cathedral and fine architecture, shops and tapas bars. Or you could visit the beautiful historical Roman port of Cartagena, which is built around the ruined 13th century cathedral. The seafood here is said to be particularly good !
Lorca Castle is also an entertaining day out for the family. Travel back in time and encounter the Roman world. This is both a fun and educational day that both kids and adults will enjoy.

The La Torre Golf Resort area
La Torre Golf Resort is truly a 5 Star Complex in every sense of the word. Built around a shimmering lake and 18 hole golf course, the high quality restaurants, bars and services means that you could remain completely on site for the duration of your stay. As you enter the complex, the first thing you note is the stunning fountain which entices you to the tree lined avenues and landscaped gardens.
The complex also has a bank, 24hr cash machine, well stocked supermarket, ice-cream parlour, internet access, fully equipped gym, golf range, putting area, tennis courts (tennis rackets and balls provided in the property), 12 communal swimming pools, travel centre, conference centre and the brand new 5 star Intercontinental Hotel and Spa.
A free shuttle bus service also provides transport to the other Polaris World resorts and Golf Courses (currently El Valle, Hacienda Riquelme & Mar Menor Golf Resorts). Each one provides quite a different experience. Lessons are available as well as golf buggys to hire. There is a Golf Shop on site at La Torre where you can book your rounds and you can also hire golf clubs from here too. If you intend to play golf, please let me know as you can get ‘resident’s discount’ through booking this property. Also, there are often good deals such as 2 for 1 rounds after a certain time etc.
Each Polaris World site is ‘Privately gated’ giving complete peace of mind for the duration of your stay.

La Torre Golf Resort is situated only 10-15 minutes away from Murcia’s San Javier (MJV) airport which is a fantastic airport for low-cost airlines to / from the UK. It is also roughly 45 minutes from Alicante airport (ALC) so very well positioned for easy access. Specific directions to the complex form part of the Info pack sent once any bookings have been made. The Villa was very clean and inviting when we arrived. My husband and I loved having the roof terrace right outside our bedroom which we used every night to chill out before we went to bed. Everything you needed was right on your doorstep. We would highly recommend the villa as we had a perfect family holiday. The Hart family, Surrey.

The house is very comfortable and well equipped, the La Torre complex is very well maintained with great facilities. Our twins (aged 8) loved the pools and we loved the peaceful location of the villa, the best of both worlds. The SKY was a real treat, the children loved the Disney channel and we all enjoyed watching the World Cup final. First time at La Torre, big complex but well laid out, almost like a town, if kids like swimming they will love the place, with 14 pools to choose from. This property is in a perfect location,handy for everything, but still nice and quiet, with great views of the sun set, which we sampled more than once. Inside was lovely, as was the sun terrace that our bedroom opened to - fabulous. A fantastic holiday and would go back there again. A. Grace, Oxfordshire.
We had a wonderful time staying at La Torre. The house was exceptionally clean, well-equipped and proved ideal for a family holiday. Our two children (ages 8 and 6) enjoyed the shared outdoor pools in particular – the air-conditioning was most welcoming too on returning from a swim, as we stayed during the height of summer! The English TV channels (including Sky Sports and channels for the kids) certainly made it feel like a home from home. The resort itself is pleasantly laid out and again very clean, bright and modern. All the amenities are an easy stroll from the house. The whole booking process was nice and easy (Clare is very friendly, helpful and informative). I would definitely recommend a stay here for either golfers or non-golfers. R Amos, Warrington.
Don't think we've ever had such a relaxing holiday. The house was a fabulous base for us, beautifully furnished with everything we needed for the 2 weeks and the SKY sports allowed us to keep up with the football while we were away . With 3 or 4 pools so close the kids had us trying a different one every day and the garden gave them somewhere to run around while we could sit on the patio and keep an eye on them.
